Yeah, it kinda looks that way. I was watching a bunch of auctions of 2012 flawless that just recently ended and many of the cards look like they’ve moved up in price.

Bought my annual hobby case -- have been blessed to always get at minimum one to open.

But with this year's insane pricing on everything, figured hold one, open one would do.

Results made stoping after box one pretty easy.

Giannis has soooo little material autos in 2019-20. In fact, this is a repack of his unfulfilled stuff from 2018-19. Same goes for Kyrie. Anyway, happy with results.

I think there's some interest happening for sure.

A combination of certain sets becoming scarce and certain players balling out.

In saying that, probstein sure has relisted a lot. But I know 2012 Base have been selling for record prices. Along with the greens.

Damn man, that Giannis is pretty awesome.

I am always impressed by a lot of stuff that people find in these releases. Sure there's a lot of plan stuff, but there are some massive wins each year.

curious on why flawless rookie autos don't seem to sell for much? for example, looking at something like this:

ebay link

is selling for as much as his prizm psa 10. But it's an auto on a more expensive line, numbered to 20.

Is it because it's ungraded (and would be comparable to a PSA 8/9 grade)? Or just no market for these

College uniform, that's the biggest thing there. Not sure what his Flawless NBA uniform autos sell for, but it'll be WAY more than that card.

Aside from the uniform issue, it's tough for the NBA releases because of the limited amount that actually change hands. Throw in that National Treasures has the legacy factor,99 or more to go around and those RPA's are the #1 card in all sports they are licensed, it's an uphill battle for Flawless. If there are only 25 plus the parallels, how many really change hands over a players career? With NT RPA's there are close to 150 to go around. Maybe its an out of sight out of mind factor also.

This is true, not enough transactional volume to really build hype around.

Also, what is the Flawless chase rookie card? In Prizm it's the base parallels (silver and gold especially). In NT, it's the RPA. In Flawless, none of the base, on card auto, RPA or patch really have caught fire compared to the others. Anyone going for a non auto, non memorabilia card will go after a rarer prizm parallel and anyone going for a auto or mem card would prefer the NT RPA.

got it. Did see NT but out of my budget for a single card so was thinking flawless was sort of in the middle. Seems their /25 or /15 cards are somewhat rare, but illiquid, but also within my striking distance
