The original and BEST platinum medallion. You know it's the real deal when the edges are chipped! (Although yours don't look too bad from where I'm sitting)

Love those platinums! 96-97 platinums were clean and classy!

Thanks dudes.

And yea Rob, my base 96 ultra of him has even worse edges than that, ha. Would prob get a 7 subgrade.

The fortunate thing about the Ultra Effort subset is that the same issue is completely masked.

I'm sure I used to have that dunk from Slam magazine up on my wall back then, poor ol' Pat got served some of the best posterizations of the 90s.

Do you have an end goal for this Penny PC or are you just riding untill the wheels fall off?

comment about how undervalued these cards are, how rare they really are and people don't realize, pack odds followed by therefore the odds of pulling the anfernee are one in 10 billion therefore it should be worth even more!!!

I love the close-up pictures. It makes a big difference when you see a little bit more of the technology involved in making the card. You can even get closer with the camera than with the naked eye.

great pickups, great photography. It's like you're on a quest to explain to the masses why 90s cards are, in fact, superior to all others- and you're doing a damn good job!

The best part about player specific odds being propped up and often even confused as set odds is how relatively new the trend is. Soon there will be another multiplier that alters pack odds even further that incorporates 90s product pricepoint. It's math too, I promise.

A while ago I sold a Webber I pulled as a kid so I'm glad to just have another from the set in my collection. To be honest I don't even like tbe photo used for the Penny. The design itself is dope.

Yea, I try my best with a hand light and an iphone but I wish I had a better camera. Feel like it would mask my lack of actual photography skills.

Haha, thanks man, that's probably part of it. Nostalgia is the biggest factor in all of this for me. Plus, it's always fun to remind people why that golden period of ~5 hobby years will never be matched, from both a collecting and design standpoint.

Just got this in, couple scratches on the surface but whattayagonnado.

Couple more pickups for me following the PROmotion, both being some of the "bigger" cards that have been on my wantlist.

First up...

Thanks charly, thrilled to finally own some of these.

And here's the other "big card" relative to my budget I just got in. What's funny is I had previously lost the auction to the same card when it was still in a 7.5 holder. How much did I lose the auction by? Not a single cent. At least I didn't have to wait long for it to come up for sale again.
