Do you have to object to the trade to propose a better one? I have no problem with Cobb for Cohen, but would like to get in a proposal to one of the owners if that's something that's allowed.

No, you don't have to object. Everyone is free to make offers even when the offers are fair, thanks for asking so I could clarify!

I have a feeling if someone really wants someone, it will look something kie this:

Team A offers Team B
Team C counter offers to Team B
Team A counter offers Team C's offer to Team A
Team C counter offers Teams A's counter offer to Team C's first counter offer to Team A
Team B is just sitting back

Kind of like bidding I guess. Sorry if it is not understandable. As long as I understand, is fine

Yea, it's not really the purpose of putting the trades up for 24 hours, but it is a side effect. It's better than David Johnson getting traded for a Defense though (happened in one of my dynasty leagues before he blew up).

Something to keep in mind is if another deal is agreed to, it will be another 24 hours, so at some point it will be better to make a decision so you can actually get players moved to rosters before gamedays!

Guys, you need to go through the proper process when trading. Trades are posted to the board. Once the trade has been posted everyone has 24 hours to make an offer, if another offer is not accepted at THAT point the trade goes through. I have no problems with the offered trade, but you need to use the right protocol (plus it's a pain in my butt to manually reverse it :P)

Again, at least one of the two parties involved needs to post the trade to the board and we can go from there, thanks!

Trade Deadline

Figured I should mention this before we get too far into the season, I should have mentioned it at the beginning, my apologies. ESPN isn't set up for Dynasty, so when creating the league I just chose the latest trade deadline date available.

In another Dynasty league I'm in that runs on ESPN what we do is put a trade freeze on after week 12 that lasts until after the championship game. This keeps people from trading during the playoffs/championship, but keeps trades open the rest of the year. This has worked well in that league and I intend to implement it in this league, but I will listen if anyone has a staunch argument against it. If this works for you please just post in the thread so I know some people are on board, if you have a problem with this, please speak up and offer an alternative. I don't normally like "changing" settings during the season, but this is something that has worked well in the past, I just forgot to mention it when creating the league.
