If you feel it's a 9, go for it, the rest can easily be good enough to get a 9.5. Even a 9 would increase the card value. But be sure, I got a 7.5 because of that damn dot and just killed the value of the card.

There's a guy on here who had 2 with the same dot, which mine does also, he sent them in and both got 9's on the surface and 9.5 overall. Might have to take that chance.

I've seen tons like mine...and they all got 9 or 8.5 on the surface. I would say go for it, I probably got a grader on a bad day.

Just looked at the Silver Prizms on Beckett.... Surface is tough

Only 18 of the 45 graded got a 9.5 Grade... 40% ... 1 did get a 10 on surface... 42% overall

Did a little more digging while I was looking at them

6 of the 45 are True Gems.... Quad 9.5s.. 13%

10 of the 45 are Better than Gem... atleast 1 10... and nothing below 9.5... 22%

Add in the 1 Pristine 10.... 17 of the 45 are True Gem or better... 38%


Maybe these are normal overall percentages.... Just seems low

Are you guys missing the centering on the Silver that badly? The top is as thin as I've seen on any of these. Probably an 8 on centering at best because of that. Should get closer to a 6. Never know with BGS, but that thing is pretty badly miscut. Still a great card, but I would say definitely do not grade the Silver.

I think it's just the angle of the pic. The centering doesn't look that bad. Definitely not 8 bad

Well you're wrong. If you prefer cards that are 20/80 centering top bottom and don't think they look bad as a matter of appearance, that is fine... but its not "the angle".

50/50 centering, you will see roughly 2.5 (a little less- roughly 2.2 to 2.2) lines of dimples on the bottom edge. That will make the top edge the same. This copy has 3.5 on the bottom, and not even a full dimple on the top. Roughly .9 to 3.5. Or, roughly a 1-4 ratio. 20/80. Never seen a copy that was so lopsided on the bottom edge. It is badly miscut.

To be honest, I didn't even see the card. All I saw was Giannis, Silver and Prizm and my first thought was "Check the dot!"

But yeah, centering seems bad. Based on that, I'll say don't send it. You might be looking at an 8.5 or even an 8.
