Is it Curry's fault that Westbrook doesn't pass to the guy Curry is guarding? Why wouldn't you put Thompson on Westbrook? Thompson is a better on the ball defender. That doesn't mean Curry isn't doing his thing though.

He's a good team defender, not a good 1 on 1 defender, that's why they hide him within the defense. He doesn't guard Russell Westbrook, Chris Paul, Damian lillard, ect ec, because he can't and if he did he would not have the energy to shoot like he does. He is doing other things on the court that keep OKC in the game.

Those things are sometime more valuable than knocking down a good or bad shot...

Why not look at him from a different perspective, you might see something else going on!
