interesting. blasters dropped online i think at least 2 weeks before they showed up in stores, but maybe megas will go straight to store. i’m still expecting an online drop before they hit stores but we’ll see!

yeah unlikely most vendors will work monday. either way target doesn’t have a coordinated drop day where the vendors go stock every store on the same day. Even if they showed up in shipments next week it would be dependent on what day the vendor stocked the store to determine when they went out.

Thank you - that is what I thought. Will have to grab them online if they make it on there. My local WalMart has been a pretty good source for Bowman this year. Same MJ rep at the same day and time, and despite living in a nice city it is one of the only shady parts of town. Good thing is nobody goes there for cards because of it including myself until I got a tip about a month ago. First time there it was blasters and fat packs as far as the eye could see. Next week same time the same thing. There were about 30+ blasters and I grabbed about 8-10 of them. Can’t wait to see what they will have for football for Prizm and Optic.

Just curious why everyone is still buying retail products that have skyrocketing print runs and prices that are upwards of 50% per more product? It just seems a little strange to me, I've opened only two products this year base set and opening day, products that have not gone up in price. I always buy a lot of heritage, but not one pack this year due to the price hike.

I’ve bought more hobby this year than ever… but it’s easier for me to stomach ripping retail everyday instead of hobby.

I had this exact thought yesterday after buying two Bowman blasters at Target on a whim. Did not see the $60 combined cost coming (my fault for not looking it up). I like Bowman, but the cards are not worth that, particularly because base has been basically worthless since 2019 and color/numbered variations have become so common. (Like, how many variations of purple numbered cards do we really need?)

Because hobby is absolutely ridiculous for the normal clector fanboy to afford and retail is somewhat affordable. Having said that, I've bought about 50% less of regular Bowman than last year and last year was a garbage CL.

It's nice to find this in the wild tho. Impulse purchasing is a real thing and much easier when the product is in-store and not online.

ha, ha. I think the same thing with all wax now. I really don't buy much in wax, the occasional blaster at Target. The ever growing mountain of base cards isn't growing much anymore and I am likely saving money the long run.

Downside is that I don't have much in the way of rookies from 2020 and 2021 like I did for 2018 or 2019.
