Mailday! I love these neon green parallels. (Partly due to national pride and being Australian exclusive.)

Pumped for Zion vs LA. Going up against AD will certainly be no cakewalk though. Hoping the Pelicans bring some outside game to spread the floor and make the Lakers D work.

Tough match up..but a great chance for zion to make a statement and he will be fresh! |

Glad Zion is doing great...but his cards sure aren't. PSA 10 prizms are down over 30% in the past few weeks. Big Boi needs to get back on the floor with 360 dunks.

Maybe the highest grade of your particular card, there are others from that product that are PSA 10's for Zion (the variation card). Good luck with your listing on ebay for this card, PSA 9 Auto...starting bid 10k, buy it now for 30k? **crickets

Eh, sales are around 700 which has been par for the course. There was a spike on Christmas (30 plus, nationally televised etc) and then they settled back in. I don’t care for Prizm, but nevertheless the market at large treats these like stocks. The market is all about what have you done for me lately, especially with youngsters. I’m personally buying on future. I don’t look at 20 year olds as finished products. Not too many youngsters out there that are capable of doing what he does. From a value perspective, all he needs to do is stay healthy and average around 22-25 and 8-10. Throw in a few big highlights to keep the thrill chasers happy. For his ceiling, I would say prices are extremely reasonable in comparison (see Spaceman’s post on Prizm comparisons for instance). Personally, I think people are approaching with some degree of caution because of his health last year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yeah, if people wanted him to be in the mold of LeBron, they clearly don’t watch basketball. I’ll take historic level scoring from a 20 year old though. Seems pretty generational to me. It’s nice seeing the Ja crowd over here so often lately though. I like Ja too, so don’t worry I won’t be over there in his forum trying to rain on his parade. Hoping for a strong return. If you think 20/10 is generational then I've got some Adebayo and Ayton cards I'll sell you. He dominated guys in the ACC, guys that are managers at banks today, it's to be expected when you're that ridiculously athletic. And make no mistake, the dude is a phenom in terms of athletic ability, he shouldn't be able to move that quick for that size, it's ridiculous. That doesn't mean he's gonna be anything more than Elton Brand on steroids, unfortunately. He can't shoot, in an era where you really have to to be hobby dominant, he's a mediocre passer, and for whatever reason he wants to take layups instead of utilizing his most hobby friendly trait: dunking on mfers. Idk why? Anyways, not gonna sit here and go back and forth for hours, I know your stance(s) and you know mine. We'll see who was right in a couple years. I'll mosey back over to the Ja table and eat my lunch. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk |

Ayton and Adebayo? Ayton was averaging 16 and 18 his first two years (currently 12) and Adebayo was considerably less productive (7, 9, 16, and now 17). Zion is averaging 22 as a 20 year old. Whether you like his style or not, their stats aren’t even in the same ballpark. Career trajectory wise, Zion does in fact scream generational. Just more Shaq than LeBron or MJ. People will either embrace that or they won’t. I legitimately am rooting for Ja as well. He’s exceeded my already high expectations. He’s always been electrifying, but he has taken his scoring to another level. I just don’t see the value in hurling grenades at another player to attempt to boost the value of the other. Hard to argue with this logic. I mean even with the right internships and a heavy dose of nepotism I don’t think you could pull this off. They would have to be a generational level bank manager I suppose. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

They're just my observations man, I'm not throwing grenades at him to raise the value of Ja lol. First off, Ja needs no help, he's on an insane trajectory, secondly why do people have to form little mini-factions for every guy that comes thru with some hype? It's like the Democrats vs the Republicans, it's unnecessary. People get so offended when you "attack their guy", but I don't feel like I'm saying anything slanderous about the dude, or something personal, just my opinions and observations. Just because they don't line up with yours doesn't make them malicious, or Ja Morant propaganda. |

I couldn’t agree more that the mini factions are ridiculous. I keep up with more than a few forums (which is why I happen to know that you live in the Ja forum), but post in here far more often because I’ve followed Zion since college and love watching the dude play. He has so many BO haters that I often find myself sticking up for the guy. I love his humility, ability, and just straight up otherworldliness. It’s funny, because I literally own maybe 2 or 3 solid cards of him. I don’t own much of anything at one time because I can’t afford to hold too many assets on a teacher’s salary with three kiddos. Gotta sell and keep the train moving on a lot of stuff, Zion is one of the few I try to hold on to. It’s just that I see people that are all rainbows and sunshine in another player’s thread and then come into one just to troll it, I tend to call it out. I just don’t see the point. Anyway, the real winners are the people that are holding 19-20 wax. There’s a couple more promising players coming up that I think will surprise some people over the years. Sincerely hope Ja does well along with Zion. There’s more than enough room for both in the hobby. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Are we just gonna go back and forth between if he’s good or not for the next several years in this thread? Super annoying.

There is no doubt that Zion is really really good. Disingenuous to say otherwise. The four questions for me are:
"Can he live up to the hype?" "Will he become the most dominant player in the league?" "Will he be the biggest star in the league?" "Will he lead his teams to Championships?" Time will tell but I'm not selling anything yet. |

If he didn't have so many morons playing around him, he'd show a little more happiness while playing. We need that Duke intensity back. He kind of looks like he's just going through the motions on this team, and it's because of who he has to play with and coached by.
