Making a profit isnt the issue. Companies are in business to make money.

The higher premiums are coming becuase of the cost of insuring all these people with pre existing conditions and those who normally wouldnt get coverage . All of these people now get covered yet dont pay their share so it has to be made up by those that do.

I own a business and if all of a sudden my materials cost goes up 50% im going to add that cost to the price of my jobs going forward. Its just how business works and companies that dont do that cant afford to stay in business

seems like healthcare shouldn't be a for-profit business then.
