The camo looks too much like the gold. I have actually missed camo cards thinking they were gold parallels.

You think that long? I think Trout's stuff blew up within three years of his first full season. At least that's when I think his 2009 chrome raw base auto hit $1000. I could be a bit off though.

I also don’t think it’ll be that long because the amount of money in the hobby is obviously a lot different now. Higher price levels all across the board.

It depends on what you consider blowing up. Trout's stuffed double over the last year. To reach that stratosphere, it will take 5-7 years.

His prices will definitely steadily increase. Most likely this year as prices flatlined during his "Slump."

You are going to get the same responses from most members on this thread...Acuna is a great short or long term investment. Buy and feel confident you made a good investment

Especially if the talks of a strike/recession happen, it will be awhile.

I think give it 3 years of great play, him in MVP consideration before you really see him reach Trout levels, and then another 2 years of that sustained play and you could see 2018 Topps Update Acuna RC PSA 10's going for $1,000

Let's let Acuna Jr be the first Acuna Jr. We need to all breathe about the future altogether. Performance always. Card prices can wait.

On a side note, I was thrilled to watch that game on MLB Network yesterday with my father on father's day. He got to see a glimpse of why I buy Acunas for his collection

Zero chance a strike happens. Absolutely zero. One side or the other may threaten, but it will be an empty threat. Everyone realized what 1994 did to baseball and it will not be repeated any time soon. Both sides have way to much to lose, and way too much going for them. What you see and hear are negotiation tactics. I will bet the farm on no strike though.
