That was mine that went for $500. I was hoping for closer to $600, but I can’t complain after buying it for $50 back in the summer.

My ‘19 Topps Chrome orange refractor just ended at $858. A year ago I would’ve said that other than a superfractor, there’s no circumstance in which a second-year Chrome parallel could sell for anything close to that.

I’m kind of getting that feeling that Juan is the guy the hobby has chosen to be Trout’s heir. Not comparing the 2 in any other way—just hobby/baseball collector excitement. Thought Ronny was going to be that guy—still might be as a part of the ultra-elite Soto, Acuna, Tatis (potentially Robert) group, but Juan seems to be out front for hobbyists at the moment.

Definitely can't complain about that ROI. Crazy that these are going for $500 now

I've been trying to stock up on Acuna's 2019 TC sapphires recently. Seems like only a matter of time before his start to pick up steam as well

All are super talented and young. I'd say Acuna and Tatis have the most talent/upside/flair.

Soto stands out because he has already cleared one HUGE hurdle (championship) and his great batting eye will hopefully help him avoid prolonged slumps (which Acuna/Tatis/Robert have all experienced).

I agree, but Acuna already had a 2018 Sapphire whereas Soto didn't.

Should settle around or in between the Pink and HMT...I would think.

The pink comes from a bonus pack, it’s chrome and a refractor. It has the base image going for it. Basically you could make it any color and it’s gonna sell on image alone.

The update 83 comes from a bonus pack, it’s chrome and a refractor. If this was pink I’m not sure what happens lol, image is from his first home run I think.

The base is chrome and will probably command more in a PSA 10 ? Although the gem rate is high and the ‘83 for whatever reason have an issue with centering or surface it seems. Probably being in loose packs floating around.

I really like the image in that card and purchased one recently because of it. I kept putting buying one off for the last year, but they are only going to get more expensive with time, like all Juan Soto cards.

Card looked sharp. I made a stab at it but was about $100 or so short. Great sale.

On a separate note I finally got the base Gold Refractor Gold Cup back in my collection. I regretfully sold it awhile back and have been trying to pick one back up. I was able to pick up the exact same one that I sold. Same S/N.

Not the best picture but both golds, base and variation.
