It's no use. The decent conversation has been crowded out by several individuals who categorically refuse to accept anything coming from any sources other than anonymous Twitter bots, Infowars, conspiracy YouTubers, or the bologna in back of their fridge that talks to them. Any institution with any track record or system of accountability is either so inept as to be worthless or is crooked and actively trying to cover up for evil forces. From the FBI to the NYT to even Megyn Kelly. Trust no one other than the voices spouting the latest venom against the people you already hate. It's a beautiful cocktail of confirmation bias and paranoia.

I think it is just last minute panic mode. Throw as much crap against the wall as you can and expense all bullets in the chamber. Maybe something will stick. As far as the FBI. I find it very believable they went through the emails in this time, particularly if they were a lot of dupes. I wouldn't be surprised if they had in narrowed down to few thousand after the software did it things in one day. Manually checked 700-800 or whatever of those and saw nothing of note and called it. Comey's statement of Clinton negligence vs prosecution still stands.

Simple question, if Hillary did nothing wrong or had nothing to hide why did she delete 33,000 emails after receiving a subpoena? If she would have simply cooperated with the investigation we would not be where we are today.

Two things. Nowhere did I say she did nothing wrong. Second, missing 33,000 emails and what is in the wiki links are two separate topics. One would think that some of those missing emails had classified (maybe) or damning (probably) data on them. You can't prosecute on what you think was in them or assume everything is bad.

The wiki links emails are a bunch of deal-making, campaign pawn moving crap. The emails really needed to be vetted through a reporter and not just dumped to the public. Now, all the emails may or may not be taken out of context and most definitely looked at with a predisposed opinion.

I am voting 3rd party tomorrow. Both of these candidates are horrible. For everyone who can't figure out how somebody could vote for Clinton. The same could be said for Trump. At least Clinton knows how government actually works. I don't think Trump has any idea on how foreign agreements are made, how a bill is created, work with people,etc.

Thank you for the thoughtful response. I fear that Hillary is lowering the bar for political accountability for both parties for generations to come and this not a good thing for our country.
