Can someone explain to me why everyone seems to think vintage Luke xwing has no value they sell on ebay for 18-20 each

I did pull the NEW Yoda Silver Coin, which is cool. I've always like coin sets.

There is no award card for creatures anyway so if all you have is creatures, white is basically as good as gold award wise (both 10k credits). So you didn't miss out on anything.

Not true. I have a award almost complete since I have gold Reek and gold Ackely that would give me 50,000, if I have a Gold Nexu as well.

So you have 10 of the 11 gold Geonosis or just 2 of the 3 creatures? All I said was having the gold Geonosis creature subset gets you nothing better than the white Geonosis creature subset. Both earned 10k credits, but that deadline is passed. Nothing untrue about that.

If you think you could still gets something for having 3 gold Geonosis you are wrong.

Yeah there is no Award tied to the Creatures themselves, but you need the Creatures to get the Planet Award (assuming it's like Hoth).

Because they were $50 before they got removed from the Vintage set. $20 is essentially worthless in that aspect. Also, the people paying $20 might not know the card is NOT part of the marathon set.

I bought two of them off of eBay for $40 each right when they came out thinking that since they were rarer than Vintage Hans that in another 3-4 months they might be worth $100 or so. But then Topps removed them from the marathon set and their value dropped in half within hours.

Spot on response. I was an IDIOT and spent $99.99 for 900K credits and early master access. I only pulled ONE Luke in a million credits spent with master access. At the time, I was collecting to complete 3 vintage sets (had access to 3 Hans) so I realllly needed multiples of the Luke. I wasted a crap-ton more credits to pull another one during the server melt-down and then I traded 3x Vintage (Jawa, Xwing, and Victors) for my third Luke. THEN Topps removed the Luke from Vintage.

I was LIVID. I sold off a TON of my money cards and will never spend a dime on the app again. Topps is evil scum.

Maybe it's just me, but I'd much rather spend $100 on a box of physical cards. If Topps server gets wiped/cleared, you're SOL.

I get the appeal for those who need to buy some cards non-stop, or don't have a local store, this gives variety, but I think it's nuts how much people spend on these digital cards. All it's going to do is hurt the real card industry even more, and have them cut back production more and more each year. Just like digital comics is hurting local comic shops.

All this digital stuff might be hurting the real card industry and local comic shops, but I don't think Topps cares. Topps is trying to make money and there is some pretty easy money to be made in the digital industry.

Digital everything could be the wave of the future too and Topps wants to get in early to dominate market share. Just look at how the digital industry in the Asian market has taken off (South Korea, China, Japan, etc.). It hasn't quite caught on in the U.S. yet but if it does... oh man.

I literally have a progression thing that shows 2/3 Gold Geonosis creatures. It's not some great award, but it shows for 50,000 credits. I'll just screenshot it later lol.

Had a wild day of trading that started with me trading a TC Wicket for 7 inserts (which looking back I shouldn't have, seeing the quantity blinded me to what I was actually giving up). But through a crazy amount of wheeling and dealing when all was said and done I walked away with:

Okay....everyone can sleep tonight now....

I didn't notice the young Mon Mothma (new gold I had) and older Mon Mothma (old gold I didn't need). That's where I was messing up. I thought the Mothma I had was the old, but it was actually a new that you need for the set and I already had.....if that makes sense.
