This Celtics defense is up there with any Pistons team or any other great defenses I've ever seen.

Luka's got a lot of TOs this series but it seems like whenever someone else tries to make something happen it's an automatic turnover, Boston D is gooood.

Could be. If he can turn it into muscle and maintain his endurance, it's a plus. I still think he'd be better suited dropping weight because the lower body injuries/tweaks are mounting up (similar to Zion). He's plenty big/strong enough to still impose his will at 23x.


Not seeing it with Lively. Don't get me wrong, he's got the hustle and spirit that you need on a contending squad, but he's far too stiff/mechanical in the hips with no handle to ever develop into anything major on offense. I could be wrong, but he's a traditional scrappy box banging 5 in every sense.

It's probably nothing, but Luka started to play mediocre when he stopped yelling at the refs. It wouldn't have changed much this series but I do think he gets extra motivation out of thinking the refs are also the enemy.

I think the Gafford/Lively combo is good enough for a title.

Their main issue has been Luka's gas tank, Kyrie playing like crap in Boston and the lack of a decent 3rd option. You can address one of those this offseason, the other two are up to the players.
