That statement is ridiculous and so is the one saying well, Cleveland should have won anyway, jr smith messed it up. Why does Cleveland have to win with the refs messing up but golden state doesnt. Lets flip the call and skrew over golden state and you could just have easily say, well durant should have played better. The bottom line is its suppose to be fair, one team isnt suppose to have to win on top of unfair calls

Crazy town up there has to go way overboard and say he is distancing himself from the best ever. That’s the type of comments that cause 47 page nonsense. But he played great tonight and had this whole postseason wholly controlling games down the stretch.

He has 14 other seasons though. Some not too flattering toward the end.

If this Lebron is the Lebron we saw the entire time I’d call him GOAT but he isn’t.

Right now he is playing goat level this postseason though.

He should have played better clearly

A few games into the boston series was the first time I ever considered Lebron to be in the same stratosphere as Michael Jordan. Win or lose it's just hard to deny the level of play he brings every single game. Durant and Curry are top 3 and 10 players respectively and Lebron literally makes them look like trash... that doesn't mean durant won't be a top 20 player of all time or curry a top 50 player of all time.... it just means Lebron is distancing himself from great players and getting up close to the very best to ever step on a court. karim has 6 mvps, numerous championships, all time scoring leader... jordan, well we know his credentials.... lebron is in that ballpark.... i just can't see how anyone would say lower than 3.

Yep, that's what is so amazing. All this talk about East vs West. There are no excuses here. This is the best of the best, 4 all stars in their prime, defensive player of the year, 2 league mvps, some of the best players in the NBA, and Lebron looks like he's on a completely different level. It's pretty amazing. 51/8/8 in a finals game on 59% shooting against one of the best teams in NBA history is pretty ridiculous.

Don't you find it sad LeBron constantly needs to get switched on to a 6 foot Point Guard though? And then passes to G. Hill to try and get the win?

Steph top 50 all time? There's about 30 guys on that list already that Steph has achieved more than.

Sorry but at the level LeBron's fans are putting him at, he needs to win them the game. Shouldn't be even talking about Jr Smith's decisions.

It was a shame LeBron sh*t down his leg at the end of regulation and then again in OT though amiright?

Take the damned shot LeBron.

And then 2 points in OT? Yikes.

Unfortunately he's more Wilt than Jordan.

Lebron could drop 100 points and you would still find some inane criticism. You're just a caricature at this point. So stupid.

Was I wrong in the analysis?

Seems more Wilt than Jordan right?

Don't get all bitey because you can't handle your King failing over and over.

He's not my King. I'm not even a Cavs fan. But I'm not stupid enough to claim that the guy that just had one of the all time great Finals performances somehow dropped the ball here. Five points in the last 50 seconds and one assist. You're the one with this idiotic, romanticised notion that Lebron has to take every single shot. Does Jordan to Kerr etc. ring any bells?

It's just so stupid at this point that you're in this grey area where I doubt a new member would be able to tell whether you're being serious or not. It's so boring. No-one is impressed.

Your opinions hold zero weight when you're so ridiculously contrary at every possible opportunity.

Seems more like Alex Jones than Hunter S. Thompson, right?

Ooooh your words hurt so much. Considering all you do here is chime in and troll, usually on the topic of LeBron, it's actually you who's opinion holds no weight.

No comment on the guy I was replying to then? Or just trolling as per usual?

LeBron played great no doubt. He was awesome switching on to Curry every play. Beautiful to watch.

Even more beautiful to watch him pass the ball, AGAIN, in the clutch. And then 2 points in the most important part of the game, overtime, was interesting. But you don't care anyways, not being a Bron fan and all, even though all you do is troll the Cavs and Bron threads.

Go and clean the sand out of your vagina and come back next game, not caring about Bron of course.

Troll on champ

He was also guarding Livingston and Draymond a large portion of OT. I understand taking a break during the first 3 quarters. But he needs to guard Durant in the most important moments of the game.

So basically you will criticize him unless he scores on every single possession. We get it.

He scored the go ahead bucket with 30 seconds. Then on that last play he made the right read to a wide open Hill and gave them the chance to win at the line.

LeBron consistently made the right basketball play. It's not about some fantasy of hitting every game winner like you think MJ did. It's about giving your team the best chance to win and he did that and more last night.

If his teammates suck as much as everyone says, then he needs to take the shot. it's the same story with Lebron. he plays great for 47.5 minutes in the finals, but doesn't show up in the most important part of the game. 0-4 in OT, and didn't take the shot over Curry. That's why need needs Kyrie or Ray Allen, someone with some stones that can make a big shot in the Finals.

Lebron needs to take the shot, yet he makes a pass to George Hill for a wide open, game winning lay-up? It was a beautiful play (and the right play) by both Lebron and George Hill. Hill makes a top-level basketball play by sagging even with Dray, knowing Dray is focused on Lebron, and then slowly creeps for the cut. Lebron delivers a great pass that is surely an easy 2, if Klay doesn't grab Hill.

I don't know why you don't want Lebron making the smart basketball play?

Lets not forget that Lebron made a great play the possession before, scoring on a soaring double-clutch layup while securing the 2 for 1.

Only player in nba history to have two buzzer beaters in a single playoffs. The fact he can put up 51/8/8 and you criticize him making a pass to win the game instead of shoot it, just shows the level of insane hatred you guys have for the man. MJ loses last nights game by 20 if he has Lebrons supporting cast. That’s why he’s GOAT. Especially when you have to nitpick one play, lol.

A guy that is a top 5 all-time player needs to take that shot. This is where everyone blames his teammates, but LeBron should have never put them in that position. He should have tried to win the game versus making George Hill do it.

LeBron had an incredible game... but mistakes down the stretch cost them.

It must be so difficult for you these playoffs, haha. This is an unreal show Lebron is putting on. And now your “eastern conference sucks” argument doesn’t work. Heck Boston looked better defensively than the Warriors. Lebron looks just as good against these warriors than he did the Pacers. Hmmmmm

No hatred, it's the level of scrutiny you receive if your fan base is pushing you as the GOAT.

For me, the GOAT to me is the guy that when the game is on the line, wins the game for you. He didn't do that last night.

The GOAT needs to be able to win the game on the biggest stage, take the shot and win the game. LeBron doesn't have that killer gene. (Shots against Oladipo with the game tied aren't the same as down 1 in the NBA finals)

He is an incredible talent and I've gained respect for him over the last year after he added a much better jumper to his game.
