Hawaii sounds nice... And thanks for the link, but I tend to stay away from minor league cards for the most part. Will think about that tho

Anyone else think that same pose thread is really dumb? Isnt it obvious that a pitcher will have the same windup and the batter will have the same swing?

I could understand if the op was talking about the same exact picture being used for different cards, but the same pose..lol cmon

Exactly. There will be TONS of cards with the same post. A more interesting thread is 2 different cards with the exact same picture

Yeah, I wouldn't have given much at all for Pedroia at this point in his career. Definitely would rather have the 12th and 13th overall major league draft picks, but I'll be curious to see who Gum will turn those picks into

I probably overpaid for Pedroia, but I don't regret it. I needed a solid platoon partner with LeMahieu and Pedroia is one of the best 2nd baseman in baseball when he's healthy.

Besides, all the stud minor leaguers are going to be gone by the 12th overall pick anyway so I don't even know who I would've taken had I kept the pick.

I have a rough list of who I want in the draft, but we'll see what happens when it starts to unfold.

A few years ago, yes, but I don't think so anymore

I know who I want with my first pick in the draft, but after that, I really have no idea yet. I have some work to do still

Ok, so you should be good then, but others will have to forfeit unless they don't use all their keepers as well

They're not really forfeiting the pick they are trading up in better rounds.

Right, but they will not be able to take a player with their pick/s closest to the end of the draft, hence forfeiting that pick. Yes, they have better picks overall thru trading up, but they will still have to forfeit a pick or two at the back end
