The way I look at it is that if I can pay for a week or two by purchasing an extra set, then why not. My #1 priority is building the set over trying to make some quick cash. Obviously quick cash isn't anything to be down about lol, but I think here in the early stages of the release, it's not a terrible idea with people trying to jump aboard early.

I understand where you are coming from but I am just talking about value because more than one in here has said what a rip off, scam, joke, this set was/is.
& how it wouldn't be worth anything going forward.
I think Topps has struck gold with this set, not just financially but also with bringing the hobby back to the basics but with a 21st century twist.
Base cards will be valuable. There goes that word again but that is the point of what I am trying to say, with each card having a different PR and these being traditional baseball style cards, this set will give lots of people enjoyment for years to come, chasing full sets, team sets, or whatever...

That is the point I try to make when I discuss "value".
I am only trying to collect one full set.

So glad I bought a lot of the Ohtani’s. If he keeps going the way he is now then this card will be bigger than the 2011 Update Mike Trout.

I got my bundle shipment today for week 2. Maybe I got a good batch... but overall quality is way better on these. Still waiting on my big shipment of week 2s. Hasn't even been shipped yet.

Yeah, I hope Topps is doing right by her amazing abilities. She makes the set what it is. Without her, it wouldn't be doing as well as it is.

We artists are a "dime-a-dozen" though.

Nine were last year, and I was shocked.

My early guess is that five teams will print below 50 sets this year.

I must say that your numbers are very impressive. Just thinking about all the work that goes into sending all these card's out, by the time you get done it's time for the next week's cards to do. You must have a system!!

At the rate Jake is going, they are going to have to make a special club for him (Platinum Elite). Maybe Jake will have his jersey retired by Topps. I'm with you Gregg, not sure how he does it, but hats off to him.

Just received the week 2 order and the quality is pretty bad. The white bar can be easily seen through the black ink on bottom of cards. All have dings and are very spotty on the ink.

Figured I'd ask you veterans. Will Topps do anything to fix this? Should I even contact them or am I just stuck with a bad batch? Kind of surprised they would even send these out.

Sounds like the same exact issue I had with week #2. Maybe I need to contact Topps too.

She used a pic from Derek Jeter Day from 2014. It was old Jeter.... not young Jeter. She probably couldnt use the Nike Swoosh or the 2 Logo on the hat.

Send an email to storehelp@topps.com and support@topps.com and include pictures of your damaged cards and a copy of your packing slip. Ask for a replacement. That should trigger an automated email with a link to provide additional documentation and follow up on your request. I think they are kind of busy right now so you may have to wait a week for CS to reply with a decision.
