hahaha lmao Borat...yeah..he was frustrated and just hit a chair on the bench..such a stupid costly move...it's gonna get ugly without him. The score wasn't indicative of how close the Mavs played this one and they were like 4 guys down in their lineup and another 4 in our foul trouble

Nice shooting in the 4th but I honestly don't think I saw another OKC player touch the ball except for someone inbounding and the clock run out by Depo

The Thunder blew a 16 point lead with Russ on the bench...kinda needed Russ to come in and dominate to keep the W

Yeah when are players going to learn. That's unfortunate he's a scoring machine when he's in. NIICE! (Borat voice)

Mavs have been playing teams pretty tough for almost a month.

Yeah they've been playing pretty well recently, but no Dirk, D-Will, Wes Matthews, Pierre Jackson started and got hurt, and at home this should've been an easy W. Anytime Russ was out of the game there was 0 offense

I just gotta throw out there Russell Westbrook's current Similarity Scores from Basketball Reference. What's crazy is that apparently this doesn't weigh in his 2016-17 season yet:

I don't think so. He's struggled against all of the top tier teams.

He's played pretty shitty, but that team around him sucks. He drives and kicks and those dudes just chuck bricks. I believe they couldn't shoot the ball into the ocean.

Dipo is the only decent shooter. And no Kanter might kill them.

Shumpert has locked him down today.

Also, amazing how Kyrie plays his best against other top PGs

But amazing how RWB has a sh$$ game and still winds up with a triple double

Yeah it is. But that's just his game. Relentless. Never not going hard. Even after watching this #@#@#@#@ fest, you still gotta love how he plays most of the time.

I wish he had some better teammates though.

It is what it is.

Realistically, this team has nowhere near the talent the Cavs have.

Lebron is the best player in the world until someone knocks him off. Kyrie is probably the best big game PG in the league, and the rest of the roster isn't bad either.

It's going to be tough going forward without Kanter.

Bit out of place on this thread, but I wish the Thunder had had Kyrie instead of Westbrook last year as I reckon they'd have won it all.
Did Russ get a TD today? Last I saw he already had the rebounds but had very few assists.

Yeah. He had 20-12-10. That line is the only thing that looks good from that game.

It was an ugly 20, but the assists line could've been higher too, Adams struggled in the paint with a couple of those and Russ was hitting guys wide open at the 3 point line, but this team can't really hit 3's on any kind of consistent basis.

Oladipo missed 2 pretty easy layups, and Singler missed a layup that I 100% would have hit. Yes I mean that. Former no-name D1 football player turned office jockey me could have made a layup that Singler missed.

But really the whole team didn't do enough today, which is the opposite of what they'll need with Kanter out.

Singler should not be getting minutes in the NBA... Surely with losing Durant and Ibaka they have money to afford a rotation player who isn't inept...

I agree, it's going to be a rough couple of months without Kanter that's for sure...and the Spurs are up next

Hey, at least Harden put up a bigger dud today than westbrook shooting 17% for a 15/5/8 stat line in a loss to the Pacers

i dont get this sentiment. how would it be better if he didnt put up these stats? hes playing with a sub par team and, at this time, is leading them to be a playoff team. I, as well as many, did not expect them to even sniff the playoffs this year. its impressive that he is accomplishing this. ive never been much of a westbrook fan but he deserves props this year.
