How do you get xwOBA where you can apply splits (e.g., home vs. away)? Something I've been meaning to figure out.

I just spent time in both Fangraphs and Baseball Savant without any luck.

https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/statcast_search

There is a selection for Home or Away in the second column. There is a venue list in the third column but the Jays minor league parks aren't listed so to get Jays opponent stats at Dunedin/Sahlen just do Away and then Opponent: Jays in the third column and then select League for Group By in the first column.

Beautiful!

I picked up an ‘88 TBT a few weeks ago. I’m just bummed that it took nearly two years to realize I needed one. Awesome card. And I’m a huge fan of any Sterling parallel of Vlad.

It only went 430. Wouldn't that be a fly out in Toronto?

Would have barely cleared the infield in a Major League park.

Oh, for sure. In the SkyDome, Chavis probably would’ve caught it on the edge of the infield.

Well, when you factor in the spin-rate wMLBpark BMI launch factor, you're absolutely right.

There was excessive headwind, so the actual distance could not be known

Kicking myself for not buying this when it was raw. Think it went for maybe 5-8k if I recall correctly.

This'll be fun to watch.

EDIT: I may be mistaken for the regular Topps Chrome. Did not catch that this is the Sapphire.

This is the Sapphire, which I believe is being sold by the original owner.

You’re thinking of the regular superfractor. It sold for either $6k or $6.5. I try not to think about it too much, but I was having talks with the seller and trying to get an investment team together when someone hit the BIN. (By “investment team,” I mean a few of the degenerates in this thread.)

I also reached out to the owner of the Sapphire, then backed away when I realized he’d probably want around the same amount that the regular superfractor sold for. Because, you know, $6k would’ve been such a bad investment!
