It’s easier to replace tatis offense numbers as an outfielder - his peers are much closer at that position.

That’s what I was alluding to his premium numbers as a shortstop - much harder to replace.

Hence, tatis becomes relatively less valuable as an outfielder. Especially if he is a clown show out there as well.

I think wRC+ shows it quite well.

For SS
1. Tatis 165
2. Trea Turner 136

That's a pretty sizeable gap. For OF, Tatis would still be 1 at 165, but there are 16 outfielders that would be higher than Turner.

The auction closed at 3,550. But was it a PSA 9 or
PSA 10. Very confusing. I e- mailed the seller to ask
and never heard back.

Picture showed a 9. Today the high bid had dropped to +/-$2200 when I got off work.
