Winter is a love hate for baseball collecting for me

I always stock up on bowman chrome autos, to unload in the spring/summer. I have gotten some awesome deals...but

But nobody is selling the players I need! Ugh

Longggggg story. Short version, had an accident 5ish years ago were my teeth got messed up pretty good, had surgery to get them put back in place, lasted until this past summer when I had another surgery to get them taken out. Went without 2 front teeth on the bottom of my mouth from then until now, when I had that rod put in for an implant to be placed on eventually. But I still have 5ish months to go before I can get fake teeth put in there. It's been a blast

My GI Jones bat came in today. Going back and looking at Getty Images and MLB TV he used this bat on again/off again throughout April 2013, until it was cracked on May 4th, 2013 against Tyler Clippard

On April 8th, against the Diamondbacks he hit his first HR of the year, career HR #88 off Josh Collmenter. I have photo matched this bat to the bat he used in that at bat against Collmenter. Being that it was only the first week of the year, there was not as much pine tar/junk on it as there was when he broke it May 4th that you can see now, but there is a definitive mark that I have circled. Looking at hundreds, if not a few thousand in Google Images of GI Jones at-bats none of his other bats have this mark except this one.

I am fairly certain he also hit HR's on April 28th and 29th with this bat but I have to go back on MLB TV and really dig for that, hopefully this weekend I will have the time

Kershaw is as untouchable as it gets for me. Severino, Rodon, Hosmer, and Davis are also up there, but everyone else is available for the right deal.
