why would it hurt his legacy?

his legacy is already tarnished. he left in the first place. not only did he leave, but the way he left. TV Show and all. VERY immature. cannot be forgiven or forgotten

all-time great player, but will never "live that down"

This whole Kobe thing needs to stop. I'm sorry, but in no universe is Kobe better than LeBron. I don't understand why I still see this. How could anyone watch both of these 2 play and come to this conclusion? It's just not close.

I like Nance and Clarkson as pieces to build on. Got the 8th pick too..

I'm still waiting for the K. Love bashers to tell me who they'd wish they'd have instead of him for the past 3-4 seasons.
Other than getting injury a lot, I really like Love as a Cavs and do appreciate what he has done as a Cav! Just don't know lots of people hate him and kept saying he's worthless and should be gone...

As for Nance being back to his hometown and play for the team I do hope he stays long enough. But not really a fan of Clarkson though, unless he figures it out how to make smarter shot and not just shoot all the time.

Maybe take a look at how many very good players have been drafted after the 8th pick. Plus this dude will be learning under LeBron. The Spurs would be licking their lips with the 8th pick.

So wise up..

LeBron can do what he wants, leave, whatever, but it does get a bit sad when you've got his fanatics saying he's the GOAT, yet he has to keep moving on to the young talent..

Yeah Love becomes the scapegoat if he doesn't.play amazing.

Clarkson has a lot to learn, but he's a nice guy in your roation. Sure there's better out there, but you only need 15 good.mins.

Jr is the problem, with his money and what he gives. I'd dump him for a packet of chips.

Are you really that dense to think that no good players have ever been drafter lower than 8th??? Does someone really need to come up with a list of all stars that have been drafted lower than 8th?

Why would I bother to go to that effort to try and hold something resembling a rational discussion with a person who has proven to be the resident MJ fanboy, sorry, no discussion in the world can fix stupid.

Back in your box.

Haha you might want to try enjoying life a bit and stay off BO if you are going to get angry on a card forum lol

Just to teach you something, here are some notable #9 picks since 1997: Dennis Smith Jr, Andre Drummond, Kemba Walker, Gordon Hayward, Demar Derozan, Amare Stoudemire, Dirk Nowitzki, and Tracy McGrady.

Pretty sure you can get a nice piece with the #8 pick. Stay classy though

You're making yourself look foolish. Especially when names like Kobe, Kawhi, Manu, T. Parker, Klay have all been picked lower. And there's many, many more. Hell Steph was pick 7.

There's some big names in there. But hey, there's no talent after pick 3 amiright.

Where was D. Mitchell picked only just last season after 8?

Very soon we will read that the Cavs drafting Kapono, Luke Jackson, Shannon Brown, instead of players like Klay, Green and Curry is all LeBron's fault....

I think all they are saying is that you can get good players at the 8

Mitchell was 13th. He's trash though since he wasn't a top 3 pick lol

I personally think LeBron is better, but there are NBA players that played against both who picked Kobe over LeBron. Stats don’t tell everything and I don’t think the answer is obvious.

he'll get a triple double tonight. just because he knows his team has no shot but he wants his stat line to look good. his stat line looks better than his hair line

That’s called effort. People who think triple doubles are no big deal, are fools!

The Cavs are going to lose. But if he averages a triple double, it’s because he’s trying to help that mediocre team win, NOT because he’s ‘padding stats’.

Idiots. Yeah, I said it.

Also, you capitalize the first word in a new sentence and after a period. LeBron’s hair line is better than your use of punctuation and grammar.
