I'd lean towards the 4/5 range. I've never seen a crease get a 7.

You could always get it slabbed and just get auto grade

Personally I like slabs for protection

Not sure if it’s worth the 300 bucks or whatever PSA is charging now but it’s your money

I recently got this back from grading and figured it would be worth showing off in this thread.

I'm a sucker for team-matching parallels and this one is no exception. His auto looks fairly decent, too. I've noticed he's a streaky signer.

Population on this card, which was found to often (relative to most 'pack fresh' cards) have a crease on the back:

PSA-1 = zero
PSA-2 = zero
PSA-3 = 1
PSA-4 = 5
PSA-5 = 4
PSA-6 = 2
PSA-7 = zero
PSA-8 = 4
PSA-9 = 57
PSA-10 = 199

The 4/5 range is where the crease usually falls on otherwise mint card. I suspect the 3 might have shown the crease through to the front (just a guess).

Probably a 4 at best if there's damage besides the crease. PSA-3 or worse if it shows to the front, I'm guessing. Could slab 'AUTHENTIC' and if you sell it, say Joey Gallo's dog tried to eat it.

Are we talking a crease or a surface wrinkle? It sounds like it's just on the card back so how bad is it?

I'd grade. First, you never have to worry about the buyer going "wah wah wah return" and second you probably get the raw card effect. That's when there's a nice raw vintage card and a bunch of people think "this is my chance to get the card cheap" and they spend the week looking forward to the day when they'll win and the card will be theirs and meanwhile it keeps getting bid up beyond what a graded version would go for because all of these people fell in love with this card and "IT WILL BE MINE!"

There's a small AH that I follow that only sell raw and this is a real thing. It's bananas. I think you could get people who see a PSA 6 or PSA 7 and think "I can afford to get this card!" and they spend the whole week falling in love with it.

LOL.. I take care of my mom and it was her PITA Chihuahua grrrrr...

Here is the dimple, I had trouble taking a picture of the back dimple. Thankfully in a top loader when the little beach tore into it, or would have been worse. Crease goes from logo to edge it seems.
