Has anyone tried contacting Topps over the Bait and Switch on Sapphire? I bought with the understanding each box contained 2 Autographs only to receive them now stating 1 Autograph per box. I feel we should all get something as a result or at the very least they should let us return them.

I guess they could send you an extra auto, that you could generally pick up or sell in a dollar bin ....

Obsessing about getting shortchanged an auto when the real issue is getting consistently hosed in value across the board. Those who purchase boxes are either buying into that paradigm or hoping to flip to those who do.

One auto or two, the real question is how many Wemby autos are in the product. If they diluted those and you have good evidence, that would be worth action. Did they release any info on that prior?

Was hoping for a flip here, but I don't see that many breakers busting it. If they are, it's by selling a pack at a time. Doesn't look like they will run up in price.

I ended up selling to a breaker friend of mine just to unload my box. Made a whopping $35. I will say, I was tempted to open it but then you see what early singles are selling for and it was an easy decision to move it. Far too many landmines in the product.

Opened a few boxes. Really like these cards. Its a shame how much the boxes costs. A lot more would be getting ripped if they charged $300 instead of $500

3 mediocre autos and 1 decent, but nothing earth shattering. Card condition is really strong, but centering is hit and miss

Issue is more that they basically doubled the production by not including the 2nd Autograph. Makes them a lot less desirable. Would gladly send them back for a full refund if I could

Right, totally agree. I couldn't get hobby at release, could not get monster box at release, so I figured this stuff would be highly sought after..........Seems like Topps left ZERO meat on the bone for this particular product and submarineed buyers.

I'm going to crack half and sell other half of my allotment since I didn't get any of the baseball sapphire and I can't find anyone to trade. Bah humbug Topps.

erm... this is a strategy that will work till it don't. Look at the TC Chrome bleed into Hoops scope premium. the tasty entry, leaves the masses scrapping for a whiff. I guess they more than get their money back, while it lasts.

I bought a couple boxes from a Lids for $299 each. Is the consensus that the price for the boxes will go up over time? Or is this not a good product to hold for multiple years? Haven't followed the hobby much recently so I'm very unsure
