That's a good idea. Space it out a little bit. I've got some crazy stuff I'm putting in there.

I'll jump in line. Getting back in to collecting after a hiatus. Switched up focus on what I want to PC, so have a bunch of stuff to add as well.

Oh man! Coming from you that could be some awesome and unique stuff!!!!

I’ve always been a little jealous of whomever gets it after you revitalize the box, it’s got to be so much fun to go through it after you add your fun to it!

Is the box heading to Highroller or back to mmbtvs? I'd hoped to send it to ChrisNTx b/c he mentioned going through it with his boys but it looks like his last comment on the boards was more than a week ago. My plan right now is to bring the box with me on my midday errands tomorrow to get it in the post.

I think highroller would be appropriate, and we can see if chris chimes back in after that.

Highroller! I've got a box for you! PM your address please and I'll notify Santa that he's got a delivery to make.

For mmbtvs' sake and the rest of the gang's: I've got a destination for the box! I'll be shipping it out to Highroller tomorrow, dog willing.

Hopefully I'll get pics up before the end of the week.

Do have pics of what you decided to keep from the box?

That’s most people favorite part! I know so like seeing what others decide to collect, and it’s cool to see someone else like the cards you decided to add to the box.

Hahahaha you're right and I know it. I'm getting on that right now. I was so relieved to have gotten the box into the post that I relaxed a little too hard on fulfilling the rest of my boxbligations. Please hold.

Here's what I selected as gifts for my buddy who's big into cards but driven by nostalgia and doesn't follow along with what's new or coming out. We were able to go to the National this year together. I think the Ross with the throwback uni and the Sports King McMahon are particularly neat.

These are being made into holiday gift magnets for my mom, aunt and uncle (I stick magnets to the back of toploaders and voila).

This will also become a magnet but it's for me. I think it's one of the funniest cards I've ever seen.

And here's what I selected for myself

I love old school holograms -- they look so good! And speaking of looking good, the Brian Wilson was too eye-catching for me to pass by. It'll join my small and incidental collection of pulled Wilson autos. Nick Solak is a local kid and it's the first Chrome Black I've gotten to see in person. The collection of Cracker Jack fighter planes is also beyond cool.

Thank you as always to everyone who's stocked the box, passed the box along, and enjoyed the box and its thread. I had a great time going through it and restocking it with things I hope other folks find fun. Apologies for the slow time in posting! Holiday week had me going every which way. Happy holidays to everyone!

I've had a chance to go through the box, I'll post pictures tonight when I get home. That was a lot of fun.

Who is the box going to next? I'll get it shipped out tomorrow or Friday.

OH! I also chose the autographed picture of Dinger -- mascot of the River Cats. Whoever added that to the box: thank you I love it.

Looks like no takers right now. Do you want to go ahead and sent it to me and I'll do a reset, and get it going again in the new year?

I have been out of collecting for a few years, and just recently got back into collecting. So going through this huge box was a ton of fun. I was able to take a few things out that are more in line with my new collecting direction, and add a ton of stuff that isn't. Bunny_Hop was gracious enough to add a package or cards in there for me as well, and it was much appreciated!

I was able to get some Bengals and Reds cards for a friend of mines son. He's just getting into collecting here recently so was able to pull out some nice Bengals rookies and some Reds inserts as well that I already didn't have.

I've always had an enjoyment for Topps Chrome cards and there were 2 that caught my eye that would be great in my collection that I pulled out.

I've always wanted to get into vintage, but have never done it. I was able to pull out 4 cards that are a great gateway into the vintage collecting world.

And then some Reds card that go into my PC.

Box has arrived with me. Thank you to Highroller!

I'm going to clean it up, purge it, refill it and get it ready to go again.

Start lining up for who wants it next and I'll pick someone to keep the chains moving.

It's been a while since I've had the box and I definitely have a bunch of good stuff to add to it, so I'll gladly throw my hat back in the ring. Great to see that this is still ongoing!!!

I am also ready to reload and clean it up, but obviously no need right now.

I’m thinking maybe after five people?

Update here. Box has been cleaned out. Still lots of great stuff left. This is the best the box has looked after I have received it for a clean up. It is too much stuff for a medium flat rate, and will be switched to a large flat rate. I ordered boxes and will set it up when they are delivered.

The 3.5+ year life cycle of this box thus far is IMPRESSIVE. Kudos to OP and company.

It has definitely been a fun journey. Some hiccups here and there, and some people who almost killed the project, but it has made it through!

It was a great idea to start it off, and has been a lot of fun to keep up with and keep the box alive.

I am pretty sure we are doing a service to the community as well, as I am pretty sure I have thrown away 2-3000 base no name cards from cleaning up the box, I can only imagine mmbtvs has done two-three times that.

Overall this project is putting cards in the hands of true collectors that will enjoy them for what they are. In other instances a lot of these cards may have gone elsewhere to die. So many cards that are great for collections, but would not even sell for 10 cents and free shipping otherwise.

This is probably my favorite thread ever on BO, glad to be a part of it!
