Watching Julio and Wander, I 100% believe Julio is way more destined to be an elite MVP producer than Wander

Are there any holes in his game? I can't seem to find any. SO's? Walk rate?

They need to shift him back to clean up. Santana is embarrassing.

You love to see it
a couple weeks ago he caught the 3rd out, he came over to my daughter and gave her the ball. She has a new favorite player now!

I love this!!! It’s a small act by a player that can make a fan for life.

Also, if she’s into cards send me her address and I’ll get her some extras my daughter and I have.

He seems to be a bit of a free swinger, with a high K rate and low walk rate.

I will say, I definitely do not see him continuing to steal bases at such a high clip longer into his career. That seems to always goes down the longer a player is in the bigs. Expect more extra base hits, less steals. Heck Mike Trout's stolen bases nose dived.

Yeah, SB's seem to be a lost art in the modern game. Everyone that's begun their career swiping big ended up tapering off, most likely due to injury concerns and prolonging careers. It's still nice to know he's got that kind of speed in the bag for whenever the opportunity presents itself. His plate discipline *should* get better with age, but even in current form, he makes great contact and can hit to all areas of the field. The power is undeniable. Kid is built different.

Interesting question.

The Chrome 1st Refractor /499 PSA 10 is selling for around $850 while the Chrome 1st Aqua Refractor /125 PSA 10 is selling for around $1,100...

There are 4x more Refractor than Aqua yet the price difference is minimal.

So is the Refractor /499 overpriced or the Aqua /125 a steal?

Additional info. the Blue /150 PSA 10 did $2,000 (in my opinion is also low at just around 2.5x the Refractor)

Collectors just prefer the /499 refractor more. It’s the same thing with blue #/150 and green #/99 refractors, green barely sells for more, if it does at all.

I don’t think the average collector that’s buying on eBay has this insight, or takes the time to do the research and gain it

The 499 refractor has been around longer than the other newer colors. It's similar to the flagship camo #/25...you would think that should be several times more valuable than the black say #/67...but the black paper numbered parallel seems to be the go to flagship RC. Hard to change the masses sometimes strictly based on print run.

I'm starting to realize that I value eye appeal almost as much as print run when factoring in what I'm willing to pay for a PC card.

I said it in a previous post on this thread, but if the flagship Julio has the same jersey as his SP... god save me and my wallet when I purchase every single father's day blue /50 card that I see listed for sale. And I would be willing to pay more for the father's day blue than the camo #/25.

BB Base Autos going for $180+

Starting to get tempting to sell when I'm sitting on a pile of them that I bought for under $100.
