Yay. A positive post lol. It’s weird how he’s suddenly hitting 3’s. I’d say it’s a lucky streak. But even his FT’s have gotten better

What’s your point? My point was that he was bound to slow down a bit and lose his edge eventually. It was hardly a bold statement on my end.

29.3 ppg on 57% shooting the last 3 games. Playing very well. Kuzma even at 19 ppg on 52% shooting the last 3.

There was a play late in the game when they got it down close and LeBron just let Bruno Caboclo make a wide open 3, because he completely sagged into the paint and was looking at the other guys with a who left him open stare. His playoff mode isn't quite active yet.

Shows how good a player is when his "WORST game played in ages" has a stat line of 24 pts 12 rebs 11 ast 3 steals.

Yeah but if you apply the Harden logic some people do on the boards you just count negative stats.

15 missed Field Goals
4 missed 3s
5 Turnovers

Not a good game at all. Nice that LeBron has finally activated Playoff mode. Might be a bit late.

That is a better stat line than Harden had

28 5 4 1
14 missed shots
10 missed 3s
6 turnovers

Tonight is the first time that I firmly think they’re out of the playoffs. Unacceptable to lose to the Pelicans and the Grizzlies.

I felt the same way. Sad. I hope to be proved wrong though. So much basketball left to play!!!

I’m not liking a lot of what he said after the game. He didn’t play well enough to be pointing fingers at anyone else.

Absolutely, not liking it at all. This is the game he should point the finger at himself. Absolutely terrible defense, 8-23 from the field, couldn't close late, 5 turnovers. There's videos on Twitter showing some of the defense he played. I noticed it while watching but seeing it highlighted is just embarrassing. Dude needs to take the blame for this one. Kuz and Ingram played as good as you can ask of them. This ones all on Lebron. Weird seeing him play like this in must win games.

Watch the games instead of box scores.

Nobody can put up stats while playing poorly like LeBron. He was not good tonight no matter what his final stat line was.

He's been playing defense like this for the last couple of years and people are just now noticing, lol

No, people have been talking about it on here for several years. It is just that LeBron said he was going into playoff mode. Then he comes out and plays no defense and shoots 8 for 23. We are wondering when he is going to go into playoff mode on the defensive end of the floor.

This ^^^ The difference is his surrounding cast. I agree he MUST play better defense, but that is because his surrounding cast is so young and inconsistent. On this team, he must carry them on the offensive end AND the defensive end every night to even compete. Not sure he can carry that workload at 34.

I watch EVERY game. Yes, he blew a number of defensive assignments tonight. I think that happens because he doesn't have any confidence in the young players around him. On the dagger 3, he sagged in the lane on help defense, and his man made the shot. I am just not sure that he can carry the load on both ends of the court at 34.

Yet, Michael Jordan was leading his team to its 6th championship at 34. Wilt was leading his team to 33 straight wins, most wins all time and highest scoring margin all time while averaging 42 MPG at 35. Bill Russell was winning his 11th championship at 34. However, LeBron can't even get his team into the playoffs at 34 by playing some defense?

Sure, MJ was carrying a team with no All-Stars and the same for Russell and Chamberlain. In 1972, that Lakers team had Wilt, Jerry West and Goodrich. LMAO how did Jordan fare before Pippen and how did he fare with the Wizards? IF Lebron drags this team to the playoffs this year, it will be because the West is the weaker confernece now, right? Lebron haters must dream of him nightly.

MJ wasn't standing around letting his guy shoot open jumpers. He was stripping Karl Malone and hitting the game winning shot. No one expects LeBron to win a championship with this team, but he should be expected to pick up his defense and get this team in the playoffs. 34 isn't too old to play a little defense.

Wasn't he like 40 and a baseball player before the wizards?
That's a horrible comparison, unless you're sayin bronbrin plays like an old man who has been out of basketball for a year?
