They already had Transcendent soccer for 2019. It was 2019 Dortmund Transcendent released in the springtime frame I believe and thee was a party scheduled. It wasn't crazy $25k like baseball, but was still like $5k-$7k.

Baseball guys talking about soccer cards in a very baseball forum...while soccer guys talk about baseball cards in a soccer forum (that was only created a few months ago).

Baseball guys think soccer sucks (except when they can get free money from it)...and soccer guys think that baseball collectors are old, fat and smell. This is fun!

...but we can ALL agree that MJ is the GOAT and that LeBron is a butt sniffer.

Have your friend call Topps directly. If your friend really wants it, have your friend wait on hold as long as it takes. Speaking for a past release. I have no experience on doing this with this release.

Topps could have priced these at $300, and they would have sold out. Topps knows this, yet they kept it very affordable. They could have also printed a ton more, and they would have all sold out, yet it appears they kept the print run down a bit.

Probably screwed, but you can call Topps and pray for a miracle after being on hold for 60-90 minutes at least. Good luck.

Easy answer is you are screwed. Occasionally they make exceptions, but that isn't happening as much these days.

I spoke with someone this morning after being on the phone for 90 minutes, but haven’t heard back by phone or email all day. Our conversation made me optimistic. However, since there was no general release, plus the lack of response since, I’ve turned to half-empty.

I posted this over in the non-sports section in the GPK thread. BO has the posted odds and it looks like it's just one single pack of 32 cards. Not 8 packs.

It would make sense from an odds standpoint if it's a single pack. With no Blue or Green parallel listed (but assumed they still made them) this is what you'd pull if you opened 20 boxes:

Blue (#/99) - 20 (assumed 1 per box)
Green (#/50) - 10 (assumed 1 in 2 boxes)
Orange (#/25) - 5 (1:4 boxes)
Gold (#/15) - ~3 (1:7 boxes)
Purple (#/10) - 2 (1:10 boxes)
Red (#/5) 1 (1:20 boxes)

That's approximately 41 #'d cards in 20 boxes which sounds about right. About 2 per box.

So basically you get one Blue #/99 and then one other #'d parallel with most being Green #/50.

Always love this debate with younger hoop fans that think Bron is the GOAT.

I just tell them that I will even give them a handicap and take out Lebron's Finals loses. MJ 6-0 vs LBJ 4-0...and ask them who is now the GOAT

Not even considering that Bron still has to pass, Magic and Kobe to just be #2
