I wrestle with this thought.... Essentially... if someone with a 9 PSA CardX offers to trade for my 9 CSG CardX, and I am not going to re-sell, how do I think about it? How are you thinking about it?

Currently I am thinking CSG at a slight premium over PSA 9. I think a CSG 10 should be between a PSA 10 and BGS 10, but most will not think this at the moment. Considering the difficulty in getting a CSG 10 I think they should carry a premium. Not going to happen until enough CSG slabs are out there and the difficulty in getting a 10 is realized.

I pretty much agree with that. Also, a pop report from CSG would shed a lot of light on this.

Got my CSG order back today and def fishy missing 30 cards out of the order originally told 4 cards to thick/large for slabs those ones actually got graded but other cards didn't get graded are obvious not to thick/large for the cases example they graded a LeBron from 2005-06 Topps yet the Jay-Z cards from the same exact set didn't get shipped so these are in the to "large" which would add fuel to the fire they are running out of slabs and waiting on a new shipment

I could definitely see them having a slab issue. They use the same slab for CGC and CSG and the numbers of Pokémon and gaming cards are increasing.

Just got my bulk sub in hand and the slabs look great. Feels high quality, crystal clear and I like the security features. And the flip looks much better in person.

How far behind are they on entering orders? At 6-7 weeks for a few orders since they were delivered none showing up on account

Anyone ever had all their grades disappear? My order from Feb was graded, at least the subgrades were in. It was waiting for 2 of the larger slabs and was stated to be at "Scheduled for Grading" even though it had already advanced to encapsulation (according to Customer Service), but I could see all subgrades. Now when I go look at the order, it says its currently in grading/QC and there are no subgrades anymore. Are they regrading my cards? Hopefully there will be an update on Monday and I can finally figure out what is going on with my cards.

While most of us here are not graders, I'm guessing some of you are better judges than me. Can you check out the centering grade and tell me if this is right or not? I'm biased.

I would compare it to the most recent PSA 10 sold https://www.psacard.com/auctionprice...29716744708585

The right border is wider and the top strip is pretty small for that Jagr. CSG are pretty strict about borders; I have two of those Jagrs in with them right now, and I'm expecting 8s I guess!

I saw the top/bottom centering being off immediately.

Your card to me has better centering then the PSA card.

Yes, that's why I posted it. It might have more to do with PSA's inconsistent grading than CSG being wrong tho.

O'm still not sure the centering should be an 8 tho.

From what I've seen CSG is tough on centering. More so than PSA or BGS.

Also I'm not sure what the back of the card looks like, but the back affects centering grade as well.

I just got a 57 card economy order back. For some reason they did not send my 2007-08 86-86 Fleer Glossy Durant, so I only received 56. They received it on 4/19 and it was due 6/14. Some of the cards I submitted because I wanted them encapsulated and did not expect more than 8's on them. I expected mostly 8.5-9.5 on the cards. I did these without subs so I could not see where the issues lay.

Here is the breakdown by grade:

6.5 (1)
7.0 (1)
7.5 (4)
8.0 (5)
8.5 (17)
9.0 (24)
9.5 (2)

Not included in the breakdown were 2-2012-13 Panini Gold Knight Anthony Davis rookies that came back without "Gold Knight" in the title. They were both 9's. There was 1 slightly thicker card and they had the holder for it.

I agree with everyone else that they are tough graders so getting 8.5's and up will be considered a good thing and 9.5's and 10's will be scarce.

I received 35 of my 50-card bulk order back this morning.

Delivered 3/6
Received 3/8
Partial order shipped back today on 6/21

The good:

They did the right thing by paying to ship back partial orders while they wait for bigger slabs.

The slabs look AMAZING in person. Much clearer and sharper than other companies.

I got a 10-pristine on a Yadier Molina rookie.

The bad:

They got slammed and wait times are long now.

I got a 4.5 on a Topps Finest Allen Iverson and I have no idea why. Guess I'll get to practice cracking a CSG slab?

I would definitely continue to submit with this company in the future.

While I don't know what the surface of a Topps Finest is like, I would guess surface was a 3.5. The centering, corners, edges are easy to see, so if that's not the problem, it's the surface. and the overall grade can't be more than 1 above the minimum grade.

Yep... when I flip the card it is more obvious (to me) that the centering is an 8. I didn't think about the flip. Thanks to all for the feedback, i'm cool with the grade now.

Did you have to sign for your package? My order just showed up as partial shipment sent out today, but I don't see any tracking. I had to sign for my first package in March but not sure about this one. It would help to have tracking so I know when to expect it and can make arrangements to be there.

If I had to make a guess, there is likely a hairline crease somewhere that does not go all the way through. Try holding the card up to the glare of a light on both sides. I had that happen with a card a few years ago.

Wow... Had a bulk sub pop today (sent mid March), 59 cards and I had 9 Pristine 10s, and mostly 9.5s on everything else.

Had a 7 card economy order that was received 5/1, in Scheduled for Grading for 2.5 weeks, go to Finalized / Imaged / Shipped overnight. Skipped right over Grading/QC according to their tracker.
