Manoah was bad today but still left with a 5-3 lead but we lose 6-5.

This team will not make the playoffs this year. Biggest disappointment season. Changes need to be made.

He strikes me as a bit of a primadonna.

Bichette was always confident to the point of arrogance. It came across in his early interviews from 2020. If you are surprised by his attitude now, you overlooked that aspect of his personality. Who said players are supposed to be nice or even nice to each other.

You are right. But it wasn’t a concern as his on field play was good. At the end, they are a lot of pitching away from truly contending and he’s one player that could be traded to help with that. The most replaceable position on their team.

O's are one game behind the jays now and they've lost 3 in a row to them. Guess it's time to fire Schneider?

The Jays will have one of the most disappointing seasons ever based on hype. I don’t see them making the playoffs at all. Heart breaking as I had a ton of hope for these guys.

Not a Jays fan so neutral.

Not sure what the issue is with this team. Manager has to take some responsibility. No?

Per Scott Mitchell: Ricky Tiedemann's first pro season is done as he's hit his innings cap and has been shut down for the year, per sources.

78.2 IP overall, finishes with a 2.17 ERA and 117 Ks.
He allowed just 39 hits and made it to Double-A as a 19-year-old.

So Anthony Bass gets 4 outs on 7 pitches.
Then he's pulled for Kikuchi just because 2 lefties coming up, and the righty he faces hits a triple and scores.

Reminds me of The Simpsons where Burns pinch-hits right-handed Homer in place of lefty Strawberry. "It's called playing the percentages, it's what smart managers do."

As much as I do think Schneider is doing a better job than Montoyo, that's now twice (he did it when Richards was pitching well against the Pirates too) where he's just going for a matchup instead of using his eyes. Almost cost them against the Pirates, did cost them against the O's
