Michael Jordan RC, PSA 10, shatters 100k !!!

Anybody think this one looks trimmed? It’s on the bay right now. I’ve never seen this one with the red borders that slim on both left and right sides.

An ‘86 Sticker PSA 8 went for $4,700 tonight!! Wow! I think people are seeing prices of the base card get out of reach and are panicking to at least get the sticker.

Makes me cry a little. 2019 I sold my BGS 9 MJ Fleer sticker RC for merely 150 bucks..... sigh.... smh...so painful

This is getting insane. I expected this kind of MJ frenzy around The Last Dance, but why is it even more intense now?

I agree 100%...it's just crazy how things have taken off in the past month. Same thing is happening with a bunch of Kobe's high end cards too(and I'm presuming LeBron as well even though I don't follow his stuff).

This is only the beginning guys...1986-1989 is on fire and will continue to go up. A psa 9 rc 57 was 12k in November 24k in December and now 40k in January... see the trend. People are getting priced out and will be buying what ever they can offered which drives the lower end cards up....cheers

Lebron 2003 TC BGS 10 (pop of 158) hits 30K (sale at Instagram). From 20K to 30K in a month. PSA 10's have crossed 20K barrier. Not bad....

They aren't trimmed Matt, The borders and cut of these 84 and 85 Star cards are all over the map. The 85 star is actually a little easier to find with decent borders as opposed to the 84 Star #195 or #288.

Possible my old eyes are failing me, but yours is wider than the one in question.

Would be awfully naive to think people are trimming 1997 PMG greens, but not this card. Should clarify, I wouldn't bet my life on the card in question having received a haircut. However, if trimming bothers you, that one sure looks the part whether it is or isn't.

Feel as though the card must look like this one before I'd tell someone else to buy. Doesn't matter why a card is smaller than normal. The fact that it is cannot be disputed. There are 14 for sale now with another 17 sold. Pretty healthy sample size for one to make an educated decision.

We thinking all of the PWCC 9.5 copies are untouched? Six of them to review and all of those are wider.

what I don't understand is how the mj rookie sticker, beckett, lags
so far behind its similarily graded psa brethren, when beckett "busts
nuts" on centering, BUT , psa "allows" it.

i.e. a beckett 8, with 7.5 centering and 9 , 9, 9 subs SHOULD sell
for higher than a psa 8 that has "worse" centering.

but it doesn't.it sells for less.

I get it, psa reputation, blah, blah, blah.

Thinking of doing a SUPER EXPRESS crack-and-submit to PSA along with a raw Kobe EX rookie

MJ: CRACK or KEEP?

In my view it might hit a PSA 7

yes there are two nice ones, if I ws able to charge 14k on my credit card through pay pal I would go for one of them.....
