I'm just messing around. I think the last year of minor league ball speaks louder than 3 games in April for Acuna. He'll be fine. Hype train may quiet down a bit but I think that's an ok thing in this hyperbolic environment.

I mean, combine it with his spring numbers and he still looks pretty good right? He probably goes 3-4 with a homer in his next game anyway.

Who thinks his call up will be delayed now? I'm thinking it will.

Days maybe....not weeks or months.

Tucker seems to be coming back to earth a bit. They need another power bat in that lineup.

In what sense? He should still be up this month barring injury.

Sometimes I wonder if people are actually buying into the hyperbole of this thread.

Stats/numbers cut both ways. Kills it in ST and call up happens the day after he's got his time in at AAA. In AAA his numbers are at the other end of the spectrum. 0-11 with a 36% SO rate. Tucker is holding his own, so why rush it? What sense does it make to call him up when he is ice cold?

Let him get rolling, then bring him up.

I agree....what's the point of bringing him if he is struggling at a lower level, only to face better pitching? I think some people want him called up in the hopes that his card prices go up so that they can cash in versus actually wanting to see him play at the MLB level.

Are we really talking negatively after 3 games??? Nothing will change. His time table will not change. The guy has proven his worth at every level... AFL and ST included. Chill out. If you want instant prospect gradification, go watch sone Ohtani highlights. I'm sure one of the channels is talking about him right now.

Yeah... Ohtani should have started in the minors too after an entire spring training that looked dicey.

IT IS 3 GAMES PEOPLE!!! 3!!! And not to mention... it's unusually cold everywhere right now. Relax.

Lmao....quoting a strike out rate after 3 games is like eating a giant steak dinner and then immediately weighing yourself and complaining that you gained 3 pounds.

I do it the other way....weight myself before taking a #2, and then celebrate when I "lost" 2-3 pounds.

Agree completely. This whole thing is hilarious. It's almost like no one here was following Acuna last year. Or baseball in general ever. Ronnie started wicked slow in Spring Training too, and we saw how that turned out. Barring some sort of freak injury, please prepare for Ronald Acuna Jr to be on the 40 man this weekend. Fernando Tatis, another Jr, has also struggled so far. Over the last 3-4 games lol.

My stomach is always full, though. My goal is to become a neckbeard so I can blend in better at card shows!

Do you have that kind of hair growing ability? I hear slathering your neck with rogaine foam can help the metamorphosis. I haven’t been to a show in so long I feel like I’ll stand out like a green hat with an orange bill. I have to step my cringe game up!!

No hair needed...just a few extra chins and I'm good to go!
