Home: .332/ .453/ .735/ 1.187, 24 HR(1 in 8.2 AB)
Away: .240/ .379/ .472/ .851, 13 HR (1 in 17.6 AB)

A difference of .92 / .74/ .263/ .336

Not trying to bash/ troll, just thought that his home/away splits were interesting. He still gets his walks on the road, but his SLG/ BA isn't there.

Wonder how common that is for rookies.

Those splits are very Coors-esque.

Dunno, Benintendi is hitting better on the road:
Home - .269/.344/.389/.733 6HR
Away - .290/.371/.509/.880 12HR

Gamel is pretty even:
Home - .295/.338/.424/.762 3HR
Away - .294/.359/.407/.766 3HR

Trey Mancini pretty even as well:
Home - .280/.343/.495/.838 9HR
Away - .286/.332/.510/.832 12HR

Those are the only rookies with 100+ games this season other than Yulieski who is much older, his splits are a little better on the road.

Is Judge a product of Yankee Stadium (aka Coors of the East)...?

It's crazy that Arenado gets nailed with Coors every time we talk stats or MVP and if Judge kept up to get MVP nobody would have even cared to look at splits. BTW Arenado's splits aren't even nearly that bad in general or compared to Judge's. Stupid

Yes, Yankee stadium does help when it comes to left/left center HRS. I'm not sure that this is the case for Judge. It might be that he just feels more comfortable in his home stadium. How many of the Hrs that he has hit at home would not of gone out of another stadium? I don't know, it just seems to look like a comfort IMO.

I'd have to assume it's a comfort thing, I've never seen such drastic splits outside of Coors (ala Blackmon)

I feel like they might rest him today to give him back to back days off hoping it clears his mind a bit. They have to do something.

Days off prolong it.. He needs to play but he needs to be batting 6th to take the pressure off. He is putting way to much pressure on himself. Once he starts to have fun again and can relax. WATCH OUT

A few days off worked for Benintendi recently. I agree with you he should be moved down to 5th or 6th but Girardi doesn't seem interested in taking him out of that 3rd spot.

Blame game I think. Coach wont blame players mental state in fear of killing confidence. Hitting coach would never blame mechanics (his job goes bye bye then). I speculate.

Hopefully boston goes on a 10 game skid. It would be fun to watch Judge as a rookie in the playoffs.
