Rainbow Foil values dropped since 2020 when print runs went up but also Gold Foils were released. Pre 2020 rainbow foils are not a bad buy though

agreed, recent perception of high PR probably contributing.

just surprising to me to see Ohtani #700 Rainbow PSA 10 going that low. Seems like a $700+ card.

I agree FWIW. Ohtani should be selling at Soto prices AT LEAST.

I think Rainbow fell out of favor over the last few years as Topps added more and more foil parallels. I’m with you though, nice card at a nice price.

Yeah, Ohtani (#700 and #150) should be higher imo...but the challenge with Soto comps is that Soto has so few RC's, whereas Ohtani has A LOT.

One of the best things that could happen for baseball is a fast start for the Angels, with Shohei doing what he is doing. He is the unicorn and all of his cards are moving up fast. His pitching stats, wins, will only be impacted by the Angel bullpen and team. A couple of bombs a week will look very good by the end of April, even better with men on base.

If Shohei is going to gut out 5 innings he's going to have to be super efficient for the next 6 outs. First 9 outs took 69 pitches, oof!

I may need to go back through some of my 2018 Topps and update hangers blasters and find a few Ohtani's, was focused on Soto / Acuna Jr at he time.
