The badges should at some point actually go on the 3d model of the moments. Also I think their plans to make a game out of this won't work unless there are cheap moments to pick from. Who's going to buy $300 moments to play a game with?

No one really know what the game is actually going to be yet and a lot people pay $1000's for virtual players on NBA2k MyTeam that are worthless when the next year's game comes out.

hmmmm. guessing you don't have kids aged 6 to whatever

actually 6 is probably wrong. my boy was around that age when he ran up about a rack of charges on grandma's iPhone.. Happy ending though, apple didn't charge her and we learned our kid was already smarter than us.... acting like he didn't know... Oh he knew!

My mom has spent several thousands of $ on my 9 year old girls Roblox account in the past couple years. It gives her no added benefit to performance in the game but it’s all she asks for. It’s unbelievable.

my 10 year old started talking about what her account value would be at if she saved her robux or sum sh*t... I'm like.. sweetie, i just got home, give me a minute.. she's like Dad " 60K robux"... no idea what it means.. So glad tho that she is sick at softball.. lolololol.. Work hard play hard (and fit some school in there because at the end of the day education is king)

Hilarious, my brother and I had to open an investigation on each of our 10 year old sons. We had to figure out which one had an accumulation of $1500 in charges on their grandma's credit card, Fortnite style. It ended up being my nephew, he had brought his XBox back to his mom's and the kids in that house had a free for all...they said they didn't know...they bought stuff and it just kept going through.

Maybe? But there is 15 thousand unreleased into the market. And also I can see more base packs coming soon which would have Zion in them. In my opinion I see the /7500 as undervalued, but not in comparison to Kawhi or Giannis. I wonder how much the Topshot community will end up valuing the badges.

I think the badges themselves are pretty meh.

I think the market had already priced these badges into the moments. Now if they wouldn't have announced that the badges were coming, I could see that sending the market into a frenzy.

less than 50 hours to go for the seeing stars challenge.

This Zach Levine was ~$240 the day after I hit it in that Sunday drop a couple weeks ago. Right now it's less than $100.

That scramble to collect the challenge moments at the last minute... that I've heard so much about. Can start at any time now.

My daughter did that when she was 3 or 4 years old with a My Little Pony game on my wife's phone.

They were NOT happy with us, but they gave a full refund. They hate it extra because they can't take back the stuff the accounts get credited with.

3200 completed, so maybe it gets to 4000 by the end? The moment is pretty boring so I'd guess it's only slightly more valuable than his /7500.

I actually bought a couple Zion's /35k at $45 and figured, why not. They were over $80 at the beginning of March. I've also picked up a few Khris Middleton /15k at $13 as these seem to be undervalued imo. No way Eric Bledsoe should be $12 and Middleton $13. I think when we get closer to playoff time these will pick up. I could see them being ~$25-30. He's the best scorer on a contender and has the potential to drop 30 points in a playoff game. I've been looking at the S1 /3k for him at $115-125 and just bought one. I don't know if there's much room for it to move, but I checked the /4k's of similar players (2nd fiddle) on contenders and the card seemed undervalued. No way Donte Divincenzo should only be $10 cheaper than Middleton. Also got my first bubble moment out of all this, so pretty cool.

I'm very close to getting back into Kira triple-badge considering the card is back down to $250. The only thing I worry about is Stan van Gundy not giving him his minutes, especially with Lonzo and Bledsoe still on the team.

I put a lot of thought about going into the seeing starts KD challenge, but decided not to.

The main motivation for going for it would be to hit a low number KD moment reward. I think ~5K will complete the challenge, so that would put the KD moment around a $400-500 price point. So probably a break even in a worst case scenario where all the seeing star moments loose 25% when the challenge ends and the KD is only worth about $400. Current complete cost is about 1,600 - 25% = 1,200 + KD reward of about $400 brings you back to 1,600. My main motivation for NOT doing this challenge is that I only want to use my Dapper play money, so I would need to sell a fair amount of moments (I don't hold that many high value moments) I have about 70 total with a Maxey being my highest value. Now I might turn to the Cool cats challenge, which is much cheaper to complete about $600, but a likely lower reward in Jokic. I also might move a few moments into the Lebron no look 3 pointer, but I feel that might be overvalued compared to his 7500 dunk moment, which is only $200 more, with a current low ask of $999.
