Got shipping notices for 6 Thiele trouts over the weekend. Got them all for 45-55 bucks. Bought a couple Jeter 2 card lots for around 100 and hoping that they actually ship but we will see

I’ve got a Grotesk Jeter I paid $30 for that I’m waiting on and every time I get an eBay notification I think it’s the seller telling me they are canceling. I’m holding out hope I get it.

Where do you think the guys are putting cash down that placed 6 figures on sports a week?

It’s right here. This is the sports gambling sector now. They aren’t venturing out to Soccer leagues and English darts, they’re getting into this market because they know the sport not necessarily this particular market.

Just a hunch.

It’s possible, but guys who are putting down 6 figures a week are generally sharper and they have probably developed models for the soccer leagues or darts. Important to remember that sports shut down in March, so these guys have had a lot of time to grind on tweaking and improving their models and projection systems. And P2020 didn’t come out until after sports were shut down.

That said, I’m sure you’re right that some of those guys who may be more aware of stuff like this are getting down on P2020 now.

I did nothing last night except watch auctions close on eBay, and then watch the newly listed BINs get scooped up as soon as the auctions would close.

It was better than any show I’ve watched the last few months. Even with the rocketing prices there seems to be some big jumps on individual cards still possible.
It’ll be interesting to see if folks are paying these prices to complete the set or artist/player runs.
