I think eBay changed the categories on our listings around the same time they sent that message about the changes. From what I can tell, if your item was sold and paid for prior to that, you're good. If not, it won't let you.

If I were to guess, there is something off in their code with the new categories. It's likely they hard-coded the old categories as the only ones to allow SE, but didn't update that bit of code when they made the switch today.

Here is something funny the Moss card just sold and the standard still works for it but the other cards were sold earlier in the day and it still won't let me ship

If that is the case then the code may have been fixed but is not working for those that were sold before the fix was done.

Or facebook or just hit the report button. None of them involve anything other than a few seconds and every seller should try to do it when they get a neg as Ebay is removing negs right and left.

Keep in mind feedback left is more important to a buyer than feedback received or seller feedback for that matter. I cannot tell you how many offers I have declined and blocked because they buyer seems to be a headache. They can have never left a neg and there are often clues that point to that even among the positives they have left. So removal could be benefiting the buyer more than the seller.

If a seller offers free 30 day returns they are virtually protected from every neg they could receive.

I would not worry about it. I have shipped PWE for years before they started this. Issues are few and far between. You just mark it shipped.

On the drop down menu there is a button for "mark item as shipped".

I pulled all my standard envelope listings this morning. When they can get it back up and running I’ll re-list. Just ate the cost on an upgrade to first class on a sold listing and will likely have to do one more today if they can’t resolve it soon.

Not great execution by eBay.

I was only to select standard envelope for 1 of my sales this morning and trying to find details on this glitch. Can you guide me where to find more details on this?

I haven't had any new orders this morning but three from yesterday got hand written PWE and bought at the local post office. It's certainly annoying if you are at scale.

There were a couple of other issues that I didn't like. In the active listing page it was giving me errors when I was trying to update prices saying the condition status was not proper. I went to change the condition status and my two options were " - " or "used" and it still wouldn't let me change the price. It'd be fine if this was one item but about 10 were like this. Meh.

Sold a card at 10:14 PM ET last night. Standard Envelope is not an option for me to ship this morning. I like to ship next day, but will try again tomorrow with it and if not write out a PWE.

Same for me. I have about a dozen orders from last night that I guess I will just ship PWE the old fashioned way. One new order just came in and standard envelope is back as an option.

Have 75+ auctions ending in 5 days I am planning on using standard envelopes for. Is there anything I should do now related to the categories for the listings to avoid not being able to print the labels? Or do I just hope the glitch fixes itself by Monday?

I went to bulk edit about 10 auctions just now to try fixing the category - the category was already changed.

I assume that this fixed the problem going forward but the sold listings caught in the gap are still a problem.

I edited and relisted all my items. About half are SE so we'll see

Did not do any changes to mine and all the ones I sold before around 8AM Central yesterday and about 3PM Central do not show anything those after that do as do the ones before. All the ones I sold this morning have shown it just fine.

I had one that wouldn't work this morning, but after I just checked a few hours later, and I was able to print out a label. It appears they have addressed the problem and fixed it. Hopefully it will be the same for everyone else.

I know you've been a proponent of leaving the condition field blank on raw cards. I adopted this method after seeing some of your posts. What's your plan on dealing with this moving forward? Thanks.
