Takes on this. Cards are high quality as always and look amazing. It ends there. Too large a checklist, but sapphire has mostly always been that way, for way too high a price. I know I know the back and forth between those who agree and those who are fine with it but it’s true, too high for what it is.

Early singles look pricey. Especially the autos and base RCs. Saw a Trent Grisham RC bid up to $60.
I wonder to what extent the high SRP and presumed limited amount of initial breakthrough on this years offering might raise the bar on all sapphire cards going back to 2016?
I mean if Trent Grisham is let’s say $25 then surely mid level stars like Devers or Bregman should get a small bump.

I think we're going to be looking at high singles at least for the next month until more of this gets ripped.

If it wasn’t pricey, it wouldn’t be “the best” that Topps has to offer, and they need to fill that best of the best slot in their product lineup. Personally, I think the cards are stunning, and I don’t see how they could be any nicer, unless you pushed a button on the back, and the player leaped thru the card and made you eggs for breakfast

i think my one box is lost in the system. it moved between Pittson, then Northhampton, and is stuck at Breiningsville, all in PA between three days. maybe it got stuck on a broken down truck.

Same for me, and it's coming to Fedex's home hub in Memphis.....

I'm assuming it's gonna get scanned somewhere at some point, but it's stated a Saturday delivery from the get go, so technically it will probably still get here by then and be "on time"

No different than the last two years. Although 2018 was far superior to 2019.

This is my problem with pretty much all TC releases. Unannounced auto SPs cripple the potential break value to an exorbitant, undetermined degree.
That said Sapphire is all about the base RCs and color hits.

From what I saw in 2018 all autos were fairly evenly printed.

It's not lost unless tracking literally says it's lost. Did you choose smartpost? Then Fedex is just letting the package circle around various facilities in the same area.

My two boxes keep going between Chicago and some place in Minnesota. I’m concerned that these are MIA as well!

I opened my 2 boxes yesterday and hit an Alvarez base auto and a Robert base. As of right now there isn’t anything making me rush out and sell them. So I agree, there’s probably a lot of holders right now.

I pulled a Yordan base auto from my box. It's incredibly clean, so I'm sending to PSA. No real reason to sell Yordan right now.
