Miss Cleo's ghost spoke to him in game and told him the Kings were gonna beat Golden State and Zion hates the Kings so much he wanted to make their losing streak to the Pels 0-6.

That's why he looked so pissed, he wanted the Kings to lose tonight and this future knowledge had him heated. Fakers 0-4 record vs them so he knew they couldn't get it done.

Yep, he should rest.

All in all, a disappointing season but there's hope. I expected him to be better but he exceeded expectations when it came to health. Also, he stepped up in what probably was the biggest game of his career so far.

Blueprint on this team is clear. Exercise all options, let Jonas walk and use BI/assets to go after Dejounte/Trae. Get a stretch 5 through trade/FA.

Zion was good individually, when he was playing.

The issue is 2-fold for his card prices.

1) The Pelicans lost. In the long run nobody cares about stats in losses. At a certain point you need to produce & win games.

2) He got hurt again. Another lower body injury, it's constant.

Very few people question his talent when he's on the court and engaged in the game. The problem is, that is just too inconsistent for him to be great.

It’s insane to me to be as talented as he is, and it all gets wasted because he won’t control how many triple cheeseburgers he has at 4 am

That applied last year. This year he got serious and shedded a lot of weight after the IST. He's never gonna be a slight frame guy even with proper diet and fitness.

I know Chuck has said it multiple times, but it still rings true: He doesn't have a Moses like he did.

Who's gonna tell Zion he can't let go? He's the best player on the team and there's no vet that's gone through what he's going. CJ was brought for that but even at his best, he was a borderline All-Star. Which was probably Zion's worst season.

It sucks and I think that's why he'll never live up to the expectations; but yesterday you could see what happens when a team is built around him. They got a bunch of young guys playing defense, running and spacing the floor and dude looked like an MVP candidate.

That was an admirable performance from Zion and I particularly enjoyed it when he trucked LBJ.

BUT... if Big Z fans are being honest with themselves we needed that type of aggression from Q1 during the final regular season game. And by many accounts a TON of regular season outings too. I guess the Pelicans rancid home court atmosphere doesn't help to inspire a guy but there is absolutely no excuse for Big Z to average 6 boards. Or at the very least should be a top 5 offensive rebounder! (Effort.)

On the bright side, the Pels are still in with a shot (on life support) but its a shot!

I agree he isn't All-NBA this season but he was one of the top 25 players this season from an All-NBA perspective, specially with the 65 game threshold.

He was 50 in EW based on EPM and 8 guys ahead of him wouldn't even qualify. 11 more were role players. Then you have the teams who have 2 or even 3 players, most of them wouldn't make it ahead of him.
