It is weird in that POSE only did 12 cards and Mays was the 8th card released in his set.

This week, probably the Andrea Pirlo by Che Heijnen, because it's so different.

I'll probably order it and maybe the Darwin Núñez by Dai Tamura, because I already ordered the previous Tamura card. But I'm also not trying to get into the habit (again) of completing entire runs by the artist (with the exception of Matt Taylor).

I'm thinking ideally I'm ordering the 10 Taylor cards, and maybe 20 total cards by other artists.

man, i would love to see that notification about the rest of the prints. can't believe i kept buying certain sets towards the end just to get a print. ugh, sucker for shiny things.

Pop Fly Ohtani is close to selling out on ebay too. Prices are getting a bit crazy considering a lot will be unloaded at once when the variant chasers have cards in hand.

Maybe it's where Topps decides "sold out" is a good look and stops selling even though 3,999 or whatever weren't actually purchased at retail.

Since there is a production limit and Topps only has the cards listed for a week, every card says it is sold out at the end of the week.

We have no idea if this Wander RC is sitting at 3,800 or whether this Wander RC is sitting at 1,500. We just know it will sell out by tomorrow with a PR of 3,999.

Far cry from the 10s of thousands we thought Wander would sell in P70.

Yeah, sorry. Term I’ve seen used in other forums for other products. Fits with the idea of demand being softer for those cards compared to ones which sell out prior to the deadline day.

Like if a video game release sells out after the price is slashed in half. Technically it sold out but the demand wasn’t really there.

Well you have it right that the demand isn't there!

3,999 is too much for all but the most popular cards, and there is a lot of data supporting that. And arguable 3,999 is too much for any of these because I don't think there are 3,999 people who care about art cards.

Topps.com allows me to put the maximum of 200 of each remaining base card in my cart.

Someone keep buying 200 at a time until there are less than that available, so we know how many are left.

Then just cancel the orders.

The fact is, the print runs were a factor that made the last two projects way more fun.

The art in SZN 2 is good, but the project does not have the x-factor. They are getting closer with each szn so far, but still no magic.

I Do Love the inclusion of Pop Fly Guy.
