So... Against the BUCKS, not the Grizz, Nesmith goes 0/3 and scores no points.
You done talking about him now?

Or when you said TOMORROW you actually meant 3 days further ahead, which would be Sunday US time instead of Thursday...

How is the Harden trade working out for you Philly fans? Shooting 40% and playing zero defense. I’m sure he’ll turn it on in the playoffs though. He’s just a couple of years removed from an MVP!

his stats aren't that bad though - what you can visually see is he doesn't have the burst or lift he used to. Which likely means his legs still aren't 100%. The real question is at his age, will he get any of that explosiveness back...?

Likely not this season at least. We'll see next year, if he puts in the work/rehab in the offseason. He's still a walking 20/10 and thanks to FTs his TS% is still over 60%, which is more than Simmons ever gave them offensively.

Watching Harden with the Nets was rough too. He didn't have the lift/manuverability he had in Houston; and the level he had wasn't exactly high. Problem is that it's showing up now and in crunch situations. His lack of execution in the final minutes of games has been known and it shows itself even more when he doesn't have the lift he had.

I do see Harden going south, as an all star, fairly quickly if he doesn't stay in shape.

The end of last night's Warriors-Lakers game was a perfect example of why more players are spending more time out injured.

Warriors have a 14-point lead with just over 2 minutes left....i.e. the game is OVER.

Jordan Poole goes in for a breakaway dunk....some idiot Laker fouls him pretty hard....Poole goes flying into the first row and lands hard on his wrist.

He did not appear to seriously hurt it, but could have...

This is the kind of unnecessary bull***t that gets players hurt....

Players are always going to play hard - no matter the score. And you know who typically plays the hardest? The deep bench guys on the roster. And you know the best way to keep those guys off the floor? Having the stars play.

What was Poole doing in up 14 with 2 minutes to go anyway?

LeBron shut down for the season - that ankle injury must be more serious than I originally thought, because I figured for sure he’d be going for the scoring title.

Couldn't he still get it if Joel logs some low scoring games to end the season?

What is Utah's magic number to clinch the division?

Yea, it must be ready to fall off for him to not go out and throw up 28 shots/game.

He cannot get it. He needed to play the last 2 games to have enough games played to qualify.

There's a difference between playing hard and being reckless....

The NBA is currently suffering from an epidemic of injuries (especially to star players)....unnecessary fouls against guys who are in midair and unable to ensure that they land safely is part of the reason why....

How many stars have missed games due to hard fouls? I don’t recall many this year. Maybe Curry when Smart went for a steak which wasn’t even reckless.

I don't know, since I don't track injuries.

But.....it's inevitable that it's going to happen.....modern day players are more athletic than in the past, and offensive players spend a lot more time in the air and place themselves in more vulnerable positions where they often cannot control their falls.

There needs to be a better balance between playing hard, using common sense, and treating your opponents with respect.

Bucks playing an intersquad scrimmage game with the Pistons. I just don't think the Pistons are aware at the moment LOL

Clearly there's a chance this didn't actually happen, but...

That style worked so well in OKC and Washington... why not in La La Land lol.

To say that on a team with LeBron, Melo and AD... it's just laughable.

Donovan's brilliant idea of running the team into the ground and lower morale is hitting its peak today: down by 30 against Charlotte in the season finale.

He's done a decent job this year but he's been atrocious in the last 10 games. Now the Bulls are gonna get swept in the playoffs.
