Anybody have their Fanatics Orders cancelled when retroactively asking for the discount? I called and was told they could apply 25% off with code "BREW", but needed to create a ticket for someone else to review to see if it could be applied to that particular product. I also iterated that if doing so would jeopardize the order that I did not want it done. She seemed confident that the order was going nowhere and someone would contact me with a decision in the coming days. Also, she said if it worked you have 15 days to have the discount added to other orders. So of my 2 orders I just created a ticket for 1. Lets see what happens.

How much are you other guys/gals getting taken off and with what codes specifically?

Good news today. After responding to several PMs about how I struck out on the Fanatics boxes even while working with a rep, I got a phone call from him today saying they had some back in stock and he put in a max order of 10 for me. Just got the confirmation email as well! I checked the three websites and didn't see anything posted, so I'm not sure they were ever posted online today.

I also just got a call from my Fanatics rep. I struck out last week but was able to order 5 Megas. Said they increase allotment.

I am going to guess these never make it back to the actual website. The extra allocation will be made up of Reps filling orders they could not before.

Yeah, it must be nice to have an inside source. I had my credit card declined for suspected "fraud" within 45 seconds of the Megas going live. I instantly received a text message asking if I had attempted the transaction, confirmed I had, and then attempted another transaction only have it declined again. I spent the next three minutes, in a state of panic, trying to get paypal to load, to no avail.

When I was on the phone with my rep he said that bots were attacking the allotment. He said they were told about the bots by supervisors, and they had not anticipated it or had experience with it before. He was kinda pissed because I assume he gets commissions from sales (which would be easy in this case) and they were being taken away by bots. Maybe next time they will allot to reps first.

In the future, give your CC company a call before any of these purchases. I did so Friday morning to give them a heads up to allow any transactions from FansEdge and they noted that in my file. No issues for me checking out. I used to do the same thing with music festival passes when live music was actually still a thing Hopefully you won't encounter the issue in the future.

Yeah I spoke to a customer service rep and she says over 90% of their CC transaction are coming back as denied

Thanks, that's a good idea. It's the first time I've ever had a purchase declined online. I probably should have just tried to get in two 5 box purchases, instead of shooting for 10, but I knew they would sell out quickly.

Stupid is paying $2500 for a box of Immac bball to get a Hakeem Olajuwon auto as your best hit. The name of the game is grading. Assuming condition isnt horrible overall, this will not be terrible in most formats, even at current market prices. Everyone's excited when their psa 10 of a 3rd-tier WR is worth $250, then complains that hobby boxes are $1k. Can't have it both ways.
