#1 - Panini has no reason to change anything about the process. They sold out instantly. Doesn't matter if you want transparency. If they change the system, there will always be people finding a way around it. That's life.

#2 - Look for FOTL to be sold at $1700 next year...no reason for Panini to leave all that money on the table.

Agreed. I understand that they have to make money on their end too, but still surprised how low their offer was compared to ebay sales, especially when their offer for FOTL NT football was very strong and pretty much set the market for prices.

I guess they're trying to see how many takers they can get to make an easy 1k before increasing

I've tried twice - first with prizm and this morning - struck out both times. I was able to add it to my cart right away but then I got an error and it was removed on the next page. Even though I missed out, I think their rules are fine as far as 1 per transaction or a limit of 6 for prizm. If you are lucky enough to get 2 or more, congrats, it was your lucky day. The one thing I'd like to see is once you get it in your cart, it gives you 3-4 minutes to complete the transaction, similar to when you buy from ticketmaster. That's the only frustrating thing for me is having it in my cart and then it is removed before checkout.

They are just taking advantage of the opportunity. Nothing wrong with that. Some buyers can't handle waiting or having their $750.00 held up. So good for them if they get any at that number. But I wouldn't sell right away for any reason unless the offer was ridiculous. The longer you hold, the rarer the box becomes. I held last year's box and looks to be worth a decent amount today. Not sure what I can get today but I'm sure it's more than the original $1,200.00. Never take the first offer with NT basketball.

They made their offer before the first eBay sales though. Even I have to admit that the eBay sales are well above what I thought these would open at (I was thinking $2000). I think $1750 was a very fair first offer. But with that said, I'm not willing to leave that much on the table. I will pay a price for comfort in selling to BO as I always have, but I need a little more.

Nobody is going to hesitate at paying $100 for a random team in a FOTL single box break.

With Hobby FOTL right around $1375, nobody should sell it for less than $1900.

If I was BO, I’d hold my $1750 offer for a month. Once CC bills come in dudes will dump the product to BO for that price if they haven’t already.

I think BO erred here in offering $1750. There's not a lot of churn on these boxes so my guess is they will get significantly less than they got of FOTL Football. Convenience of selling to them is worth something but not $500. If you want to instant sell these, put it on eBay right now for $2400, check back in 5 mins and it will be gone.

As stated earlier today... I thought Blowout's initial offer was solid. However, I am not sure anyone expected these to be $2600-2700 currently. I am sure they will adjust as time goes on. Realistically, nobody should be selling till they're in hand anyhow

I think that happened in October or so, right? Are there going to be any more FOTL releases between now and then besides maybe Spectra?

Immaculate, Flawless, and Spectra would be next for FOTL but not sure in what order.

If the same as last year, it’ll be:

Spectra
Immaculate
Flawless

Disappointed I couldn't get any but with the saved initial money decided to be doing a PSA shipment of my 14 Giannis Prizm RC's, 1 Giannis Prizm auto, 1 Curry Topps RC and my Bagley III Prizm White Sparkle. Hoping most of them do well. Hoping to get them back just in time for the Bucks to be winning the title.

Agreed or at least once you’re checked out you get a few minutes to enter your info and have it processed. That’s the part that can be frustrating, waiting for your payment to go through only to be told item is now out of stock. If they don’t change it though it’s fine. No one on here is owed anything. If you get a box be happy. Enjoy the cheap (relative) break or enjoy the windfall

For me I added the box to my cart right at 8am, only to get an error right after like you said. And then, it was a process of trying to get back into the cart in order to checkout. If it ever let me back there, the app would not allow me to hit the checkout button to proceed further into the process. Got stuck at that point. Must have hit the checkout button 20 times and it just would not go to the Select a Payment Method page next. Definitely frustrating

I was ready to drop $2k for FOTL but not $2600. Preordered 2 reg boxes instead for $2200, 1 rip and 1 hold.

I've seen single boxes for around 1k. Cases are going for more per box. I think 1200-1400 for single boxes sounds right. I think fotl will sell between 2500-3k now till a couple weeks after they're in hand. Then 3-4k once boxes are hard to come by. Unless all the Lukas have been pulled already lol.

As somebody who hasn't been shut out of a FOTL since 2017 NT, here are my tips.

1. The app is no longer the best option since the update. Use the website.
2. Do not have the store open in two places (app/website, two browsers, etc) simultaneously.
3. Figure out which browser works the best for you. For me, it's Safari.
4. For a release with a countdown, there's no need to refresh the page. The add to cart button will appear when the countdown is over. However, you must stay on the countdown page (keep it visible on your screen), or the countdown will delay. NT released at 10:00:01 CST today.
5. Add to cart, then quickly click on your cart. It will take a moment to load the cart. If it says sold out, refresh the page. Then click checkout.
6. It will again take a moment to get to the checkout. Either have a credit card saved from a prior purchase, or use an autofill. You will still need to enter your expiration date (type the four numbers, no /) and CVV code.
7. Click the I'm a human checkbox or whatever it is. Then do the captcha. Then complete the order.

The process is infinitely better than a year ago. My best piece of advice is to just be patient.

You have to treat it like sneakers & have your information stored already. The issue is when people start using bots, it leaves us manual boys with no shot.
