I hate the Pats and am so sick of seeing this crap, but the game went as I predicted (expect much lower scoring) with Goff being the weak link.
The fact that the Rams shouldn't have been there makes it slightly easier to swallow.

Rams hired Anderson to mentor Gurley, Gurley is injured how do you mentor that?

Hot take is that McVeigh and Goff will be on different teams in 3 years. The system first got exposed by the Bears and got exposed big time tonight. Bring a passrush on Goff and the kid melts. In his last 8 games, he's had 7 Td's and 7 Ints and 4 of those TD's were against the 49ers in week 17.

Yep, I have never been sold on Goff. I don't think he is that bright. The fact that McVeigh has to coach him until the last minute isn't a good sign. Their offense lives and dies with Gurley.

How much of the defensive free agents are back? Talib, a Peters, Suh, etc.

Doubt they wanna pay Peters his option. Talib maybe cheap enough. Suh is gone and it was pretty much established as such in the offseason.

NFC West looking a lot better for the Seahawks and the rest of the teams next year. Rams really set the bar high for themselves. Wonder if we might see the Falcons effect after that kind of humiliating loss.

They won't now and if the Bengals were smart they would pull the offer on the Rams QB coach to be their head coach.

Probably going to be worse, Matt Ryan is still a very good QB. You may see Goff morph into Blake Bortles next year.

No loss could be as humiliating as that one.
While the Rams were never really in this game, they kept it close enough to still be in it in the 4th quarter and did not fritter away an enormous lead.

I think LA will be fine next year.

What is the Falcons effect? Going to the playoffs the following year, winning a road PO game and taking the eventually champs to their hardest challenge?

OR the team dying 2 years, ruining any chance for a SB run?

Suh, Fowler, and their SS are all free agents. Talib and Peters both have one more year on their deals at 8-9 million each. Both can be cut without a cap hit. Rams defense may be vastly different next year.

Gilmore makes an int., forces a fumble, gets several tackles, helps hold Goff to 3 pts. Edelman gets MVP. Alright.
