They'll probably never admit it, but some people at comc must realize how much of a mess this modern card condition bucket thing has been. Just so sloppy. Subtracts from the usability of the website.

Not to digress, but my COMC account has really been buzzing with sales in the last several weeks or more. Crazy selling lately. Good times. Hope it last so I will have more money to buy more cards. LOL

Nobody has been complaining about sales thing is if they cannot get caught up on the other things it will eventually trickle down to sales as buyers and sellers both get disgruntled. I know I am not sending anything else as soon as my current batches are loaded I will begin a liquidation sale to leave the site. There are many others doing or considering similar moves.

Damn shill bidders. 3 of 7 COMC auctions I sent ended with a shill bidder (0 feedback, 9 feedback twice (high retraction rate) winning last week. Thankfully COMC doesn't charge the $3.50 unless it's paid.

Does COMC require cards to be shipped? I was trying to make a purchase but just wanted the cards to stay in my port or whatever until I'm ready for them to ship. Is that possible? Please forgive my ignorance, I've tried searching the forum before asking.

Thanks,

Parker

Only problem I have is it’s taking them months to re list some of my cards that weren’t paid for. And during that time they are literally just locked. You can’t have them shipped to you or anything. It’s really unacceptable and made me rather sell these cards myself on eBay again.

No, they do not require them to be shipped.

Yes, that’s possible.

That's terrible. Maybe a BBB complaint would help? I don't know but with the way the card market is there could easily be some lost value there.

You need to purchase store credit first. Then make your purchases with store credit and they stay in your account until you want to mail them.

I got my shipment in today! I'm mostly satisfied, but two "uncirculated" When Robots Rule the World cards from 2018 Goodwin arrived with scratches on the lenticular surface. I sent an email to staff@comc(.)com in the vain hope that I can get replacements.

Fortunately they're e-Pack fluff and cost about $1 total, but I'd still like clean copies.

The BBB won't/can't really do anything - they have no real power or authority. The only thing you can really do is post here or on their social media. Negativity there will get their attention quicker than anything else. Good luck.

I have read your replies in past posts & know you used to work there. Is there any compelling reason why they refuse to hire additional employees or take the necessary steps to improve customer service? Could the problem be retaining quality employees?

As I said in an earlier post, I have been selling on COMC since 2011. My latest Basic processing is the first one ever that has been delayed & now possibly might be completed 2 weeks past the deadline. All previous submissions were completed on time or before.

If they are swamped with submissions, they need to use common sense such as hiring additional employees to meet the demand or stop taking submissions until they are caught up. Their solution seems to be to increase submission rates and lengthen due dates.

I personally am going to cut-off from COMC once my last submission is settled & I can try to sell out what I have. I just feel their business is not going to improve & they will continue to experience self inflicted problems.

Their business model really fits a need. Just fix the obvious & nagging problems that seem to occur & that are repeated over & over.

Thanks for trying to help out with COMC questions. Jim W.

It is stupid that the processing time has been extended to 12 weeks. That doesn't do the sellers, or the company, any good.

By all accounts, it seems they are at operating capacity. The higher fees should hinder submissions. Maybe it is virus fears leading to their decisions.

The one you previously listed had already been charged the upgrade fee at some point. The one you are trying to price now has not been charged that fee.

Also last week the fee structure changed so its possible your previous card got in under the old system, but now that the system has changed when you relist it is falling into the new system

1640 cards due yesterday. Not one loaded overnight. This backlog is more severe than any of us know. Still have cards due from batches with a due date of 2/13. Also mailed in 6,000 more at the deadline. Not counting on those being processed this year. My guess is they will not allow drop offs at The National this year to finish the backlog.

2/13 seems to be a catalyst. Almost everyone I see posting about late subs that date comes up.

My oldest sub waiting to finish processing is 1/24, so it seems like it started earlier than that.
