Putting together a nice piece of wall art with all my topps now relics. Should have all cubs world series wins and zobrist mvp, the nlds, nlcs and division clinch. Nice timeline. Then i will shadow box frame it.
Do you think it is ok if i put the relics in a tighter fitting snap case as shown below or should leave them in the magnetic holders?

I think I would leave in the magnetic holder personally. I plan on leaving in holder when I get mine. I actually made a couple shadow boxes to display my world series relics (Zobrist and G6 Bryant/Russell). Will use velcro on back of holder, so I can take out easily when needed.
I guess my trip with the wife to Micahels' on Black Friday wasn't a total waste.

Not sure...think I'd grade them before putting them in. Just my opinion

I was going to use velcro as well, but the stuff i got on amazon doesnt look as strong as what you got. Does the velcro you used stay stuck to the acrylic ok. Where did you get it?

Just the basic utility stuff (Home Depot, Michaels) as long as the backing part is secure (to the wood, or matting) you are good. The felt piece that would go on the acrylic side sticks like glue. I have used it on both PSA and BGS cases in the past for projects and it's still secure after many years of display. The only downside to using on a BGS case is it is hard to take off when you are ready to sell, lots of "Goof-Off" to get out the residue, but eventually cleans up well. But will definitely be secure, weight is not an issue.

That's awesome, hoping to get one of those myself for the Bryant. Any thoughts yet on how wide spread this surprise gift is? Starting to see a few of them pop up on ebay already. With NNO# wonder if it is going to be added to the OS checklist.

Holding onto mine for now but I wonder if everyone who ordered even a single card from the program received one or if it was sent to only those that ordered a certain quantity or $ amount through the year. I agree, it was a nice gesture and a surprise to receive it but before I opened it I was a little ticked thinking that it was the Kershaw auto that I received confirmation on a couple of days ago and shipped with no protection haha.

I received mine today as well.
Though I'm a frequent buyer of the program, I think everyone who has bought Topps Now directly from Topps.com even just for once is getting the Holiday giveaway card.
Someone else mentioned that he/she bought only once but got the Holiday card.
It also mentions in the greeting card "Thanks for joining the Topps Now family in 2016!". Would be pretty harsh for them to consider that one time purchase won't mean "joining" the program, so I think it goes out to anyone who have bought from Topps.com even for once.

Why I don't believe there will be as many as people think..

No flippers will be getting these in quantity... It's also most likely the flippers who are selling theirs now quickly.

No one person is going to have 20-50 of these at once. Even if everyone who ever ordered from Topps Now gets one, most will end up staying in collections and never see the market. Once these start drying up after the initial delivery from Topps you won't see all that many on the market.
