That's always been the frustrating thing with grading is that on another day, it (they) might very well have been. Can't wait to see them!

Including this one there are now 4 Black PSA 9's of card #250 and I also own one of the other 3.

I was also really hoping this one would gem because I have the only PSA 10 Black of Ohtani's other rookie cup card #600. I really wanted the pair in PSA 10. Oh well.

Not including color parallels or autos, what are your top 3 favorite Ohtani RC’s?

I’m new to this, but my 3 are:

1. Sapphire RC
2. Heritage Action Variation

I really like the Sapphire as well, but I just can't get over the overly photoshopped image (same with series 2 RC, though I have some parallels of it).
Other notables in my mind are Topps 3D and New Era.

The heritage is that classic rookie card image and it's short printed to just a couple thousand, making it semi exclusive. I am also partial to Finest if we're talking strictly image.

Here's my first C- autograph. I bought it like this, but PSA was tough on this one. Only thing I see wrong is some surface lines across the arm.
