I feel like this happened with something else - a per customer limit. But in that case, you couldn't actually order more with a given account. Am I making that up? Why put a limit on it and then allow a single account to keep ordering? Doesn't make sense.

Yes, and that was a good decision. The background colors contributes to the artwork and I think it would be much less appealing if it were all blue-washed.

I can't wait to see the market settle in for these. Looks like $120-125 is the new pre-sale level, but that'll likely walk down some. My guess is you'll be able to pick them up for ~$100 once they start arriving in people's hands. But who knows in 2020.

I just bought 6 more boxes, 1 at a time. They put the limit so someone doesn't buy 10 at a time where it would sell out quickly. I'm 100% confident Topps will honor the sale. This is not the first time this has been done this way. I have spent 100s of thousands with Topps the last 5 years and never had them pull a sale from me. Even when the club first came out I accidentally bought 2 memberships on the same account because of a glitch. I contacted Topps and told them I didn't want to lose my membership and they said no problem and that if I wanted, I could just keep the 2 memberships on one account. They even let me renew both accounts last year. This year I only renewed one because I could only preorder from 1 anyway. Plus, I have 4 unique 582 memberships. If they wanted to, they could have made it impossible to buy more than 1, just like they did for club members.

I was so tempted, but I stuck to one for each of MC accounts and one for each today. Just didn't feel like dealing with a hassle from them, but interested to see if they honor all yours...hopefully so.
