Keep deflecting. I would be willing to bet you are actually very young, just by how your attitude and personality comes off through words. I got a higher return on my one case that had 2 color autos of bottom tier players than I have of many other products I have busted open. Current price there is no way I would touch it, however have done pretty well on parallel's and will see with a bunch of auctions ending tonight. When you can unload a case worth of inserts/base after fee's for 20% of your initial cost it is pretty satisfying. First case got over my case price in sales while keeping a good amount with my top sale being 150.

And the reason I don't think he did anything to hype the product is exactly what you stated above...he asked a lot of questions and really presented himself as being somewhat clueless. I don't see how that individual pulled the wool over anyone's eyes.

And for what it's worth...the hype materialized. Cases broke well, singles sold well, and wax prices skyrocketed. Everything that we wanted to happen, happened.

Just quoted for the best buddies. Thats only going back one page. Can quote a few more guys as well.

Actually I hope 2015 draft hobby remains low as long as possible. I'll keep buying & currently sitting on 50. At current prices it SCREAMS opportunity

Didn't want your post to get lost in the nonsense. I know we were talking did you end up selling in bulk then or as sets? Looks like you did well getting rid of your base/inserts.

Case 1 did sets, case 2 did bulk. Made pre fee's 40 dollars more doing sets, just didn't find it to be worth my time to do it for the 2nd case. Still have a lot of stuff from case 1 to sell like vet sets, insert sets, and turn 2 have half a set.

seems quite strange that every distributor on every corner as you claim is selling them all day long at 450. these buy offers on dealernet at 450 are NOT being filled. actually the two distributors I deal with do not have hobby to offer. most online dealers don't have them either & the ones that do only have a case or two. if you can get them all day long at 450 from some magical source that's terrific but its not the market.

Now if we can argue without the name calling etc. I will discuss with you. First, never did I say every distributor on every corner....no no no. I have noticed with a lot of your post "dealernet, dealernet, dealernet". Everyone with a tax ID has access to dealernet, myself included and obviously you do. You never once, have reached out to the folks who distribute cards in your area on dealernet? My source is confirmed, and in fact when I posted about the cases for 450, there were other members here who blew me up because they use the same guy and knew who I was talking about (Not joking).

How did I get my source and my 'good prices', by using dealernet and making connections with people in my area. Remember the old saying cash is king. Its hard to turn down a pile of cash sitting in front of you. I have that reputation with a large distributor in my area. I did the same thing for 2014 draft when buys were getting filled around $600 on dealernet, walked in with $550 cash/case and loaded the truck up with 10 cases.

Unlike some others, you actually have feedback here, which means you contribute that means you could one day have a card I really need and vice versa, so if you would like to discuss further we can via PM. But I'm not going to argue with you about this and Ill let it go.

I know it's early and no checklist, seeing how well regular Bowman is doing, can/will Bowman chrome do as well? Also interesting with no Jumbo's because of the Vending. I am not someone who buys a lot of modern so not sure if the 2016 Bowman Chrome will have a lot of the same auto checklist that the regular Bowman had? Or are there several other top prospects expected to be in Bow. Chrome? Thanks for any info to a Modern noob

By that time of year there are too many other products competing for the same money, including TC which comes out before it and will be hot. So even if the checklist has some good names it will still likely struggle comparatively.

Also I suspect the revamped Finest-like Hobby format with 2 mini boxes and less packs isn't going to be popular with traditionalists.
