In other news, after week one. Justin Fields is in Elite company!

Week one QB ratings:

Justin Fields 78
Patrick Mahomes 77
Dak Prescott 72
Deshaun Watson 67
Josh Allen 62
Joe Burrow 52
Aaron Rodgers 39
Daniel Jones 32
Or the Bears fans can't figure out the last time the swept GB. Happens so often with the Packers beating the Bears we don't really care.

Yeah, I had a couple friends who happen to be Packer fans texting me the same thing around the same time as the post. I knew they all had to have gotten it from the same source, which turned out to be an ESPN affiliated radio station that uses Mark Chmura for analysis.

Figures they'd go all in for a fact-free MSM/Disney news source like ESPN as long as they were telling them what they wanted to hear. Sad!

Ummm. It was the Bears fan correctly stating the last time that sweep happened. And a Packer fan incorrectly posting a lie.

So tell me again, how a Bears fan cant figure things out?

Where do the Vikings need to finish for Jefferson to demand a trade? Middle of the pack, missed playoffs, etc? I went to the game Sunday and was not impressed with the team. I think they'll regret not re-signing JJ before the season, but I suppose if it looks like we're entering a rebuild then they can ship him out for a huge return.

I don't know if the Packers are going to be any good this year, but beating down the Bears in Chicago will never not be fun, regardless of the circumstances.

Don't blame me for the Bears fans being inept and not knowing the last time they swept the Packers. Don't worry maybe in another 15 years the Bumbling Bears of Chicago can sweep the Packers again. But hey look at it this way the Bumbling Bears of Chicago will end up with two top 10 picks n 2024 that they will screw up!

The spread is Eagles -6, at home. That seems light IMO. I know the Vikings are capable of scoring, Jefferson is one of the best. But the Eagles have one of the best defenses in the league.

I'd take the Eagles by a TD, if I wasn't so lazy when it comes to gambling.

Did they say Bumbling Bears of Chicago on the radio today? I know it's the primary only source for Packer fan witticisms.

Let them have their fun. Gods knows there is nothing to be proud of in the entire state of Wisconsin, out side of their football team being better than the Bears lately. They need something to talk about while they are milking cows!

I do like when Packer Backers bring up the Bears 1st round draft picks. For sure, Kevin White getting hurt was a bad pick in hindsight. And Mitch didn't pan out, but did make a Pro Bowl. They also drafted Urlacher, Tommie Harris, Greg Olsen, Kyle Long, Kyle Fuller and Roquan since the start of the millenia in the first. That is a lot of All pros, Pro Bowlers and at least one Hall of Famer already.

People forget, over that span, the Bears have traded away their 1st round pick more so than any other team. 6 times since 2006, the Bears have traded out of the 1st round. Hard to screw up who you pick, when you don't pick to begin with.

What’s that? Alliteration?

I see that as the peak of Packer wit.

Packer fans are known for their cunning! I'll give them that much. Must be a super smart group, to buy hundreds of millions of dollars in shares of a team, that pays zero dividends and can never be sold.

The fans that hand over their money for nothing, call themselves "owners". The rest of the world calls them rubes.

Something, something...gun violence in Chicago, scared of big cities...something, something. Did I do that right? I live in Columbus, not Wisconsin, but I'm doing my best.

I know folks like to rib on the Packers selling stock, but it's really a low-cost way to guarantee the team never goes anywhere, allows non-local fans to support the team financially, and results in funding that fans can opt into instead of having to demand/ask for public funding - Green Bay/Lambeau Field doesn't collect public tax money since the last tax was retired in 2015.

The pieces of paper are worthless, but I do think it's a lot better than teams holding the cities hostage unless they get more money (especially like we see with so many MLB teams right now).

Got to love Bears fans. They are in the same for the last 20-25 years the Packers were in from the 70s-80s. Being dominated by your main rival but still trying to act like you matter. Will say Packers fans did nothing different then the Bears fans do now.

Well I wouldn't go that far! There's tons of things to take in that our northern neighbors have. Chicago has amazing stuff, but if you're looking for quieter things to do WI has it all. Old architecture in towns, national parks, water sports, museums, scenic vistas, caves, hiking, etc. It's not for everyone of course but it's got charm.

Outside of the whole irrational Chicago hate, WI is a great place to be! Both places have good amenities and activities depending on how people want to spend their downtime .

Yes, you did it perfectly!

31 other teams don't need to sell fake stock, in order to support their teams financially. But I guess without that, sales of Green & Yellow "owner" shirt sales would tank on Etsy. So you all are doing Gods work!

If GB had a owner like 31 other teams do. GB would not have a team as it would have been relocated decades ago. That fake stock has kept the Packers in GB.

Right?!
I fixed it for you...

There's tons of things to take in that our northern neighbors have. Chicago has amazing stuff, but if you're looking for boring things to do WI has it all. Rundown architecture in towns no one goes to, national parks like every other state, water sports since most of their land is marsh, farming and dairy museums, scenic vistas of cows, exciting things like caves, hiking, since you can only do that in Wisconsin etc.

I don't see how this is a "pro" for Packer fans. It really only means one thing.

No one wants to be in Wisconsin, so if not for the fake stock, they wouldn't have an NFL team, as they surely would be relocated if not for that.

I really don't see how handcuffing a team to a small city, with a limited market, is a good thing for anyone. Well, except that small city.

If the Packers moved to Milwaukee, who at least has "stuff" there, and over 500,000 residents. Would anyone outside of Green Bay care?

Chicago =/= Illinois

Outside of Chicago and the nearby Suburbs, Illinois is basically Iowa, Indiana, or Kentucky. You'd love it!

Illinois itself, is just Wisconsin but with less hillbillies. The Chicago Metro area on the other hand, is World Class.

The entire state of Wisconsin has just 5.8MIL people. Just Metro Chicago alone, has 9MIL people. Why do so many want to live in and around Chicago? Festivals, music, culture, award winning architecture, some of the finest dining and museums in the world, not just the country, ETC

There is a reason why 60MIL people visit Chicago each year. You don't draw tourists from the around the globe, just to sample cheese or watch a cow get milked.

People can make fun of the crime, which the city tucks into a few neighborhoods, that no one is going into. But can anyone really say "What does IL have?", when Illinois has the 3rd most visited city in the country?
