I am totally agreeing with you. I like how you said it. You got it at MSRP so you were okay but if you paid third party price you would be upset. Cards this year not at MSRP is a bigger gamble then usual.

So yea I got lucky with the boxes, but every other aspect of being a sport fan here sucks..
Going to check walmart like everyday now haha. How often do you guys think they will restock the shelves?

They've printed some several thousand Optic base sets. The cards that are in each set still sell for crazy money even without the green wave pack. Unless it's as plentiful as oxygen, it'll go up until we are all proven wrong. Very finite supply of items combined with a glut of demand and lack of new products.

Edit: Someone listed 7 hanger boxes for $40 each, gone before I could even add to my cart.

Yup. If I had any Mosaic, I'd be listing it right now. Excel hasn't received any from Panini yet, neither has wholesalers/distributers. Tons of demand and only MJH for supply!

That makes no sense. I'm buying hangers if I can find them for $40-$45. Even when Excel gets it, it'll be gone just as quick.

Yes, and it'll all get scooped up again like the Walmart batches. Supply is still far below demand. As more of it gets broken, supply goes even lower. I'm not heavily investing in these, but I have 10 hangars on the way now and maybe a mega box that was offered to me for $105. Selling now doesn't seem to be the best idea unless they pump more and more of this out, which we should all agree isn't going to happen anytime soon with the ongoing pandemic.

Couldn’t agree more. I started off real hot.. bought 900 msrp. Sold very little of it. Still have 8 cellos on eBay a mega and blaster that I have stashed not sure if I wanna sell or not lol. Opened 4 megas 9 hangers, 3 blaster, 3 cello. Zion or bust for me.

Right, agreed, that's an unknown. And for the long term, this, as everything else this year, is a great investment even at $40 per hanger.

Probably what'll be affected more is the price of singles. As things do get cranked up again, there will be more of the cards offered. I think we could see single prices go down in the medium term.

I have some cello boxes I pre-ordered. If they get shipped soon, and if single prices are still this strong, I'll certainly contemplate ripping more than I was.

Its only going to go up in price like EVERY NBA PRODUCT this year lol... yes Target has not gotten any yet and when they do it's gonna be gone asap as its put out or even snagged before the reps get there... there are a ton of people who cleaned house who didn't have the money to so they're trying to get rid of stuff now for a quick profit. I purchased a ton of this stuff at reasonable prices from people who wanted to make a quick $10-15 bucks... Ill open some stuff but plan on just setting it away and watch the world dry of basketball products again... if hoops, donruss & Draft are selling 40-45 I have no problem holding this haha... I've said it over and over... the people whining about prices now are also the ones whining about $40 Prizm Blasters back then... boy don't you wish we wouldve bought them all at that price!

Did find 5 Hangers of 16-17 Complete, 2 loose 19-20 Optic Cellos, and 2 sealed 19-20 Optic Cello boxes though.

I didn't find any Mosaic at Walmart today but I found a sealed box of National Treasures. It didn't scan so the cashier just typed in $29.99.
